Booked a room because it was close to the Nationals Park (7 minute walk). Ate dinner at Whole Foods which was a couple of blocks down. Staff and parking attendants were friendly and helpful! Our room was on the top floor (15th) and was immaculate. Absolutely happy with the large suite! Area was trendy and clean. Only complaint was the expensive parking and the hot underground lot but car was secure and had security.

Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This site will compare thousands of booking web sites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you choose this place you definitely won't regret it. There are a few staples I value in a hotel (i.e. safety, quiet, clean), but the customer service is what will wow me. The two gentlemen who work at night were incredibly personable, helpful and caring. What took it to the next level was this: they gladly coordinated an accommodation I needed. Then, shortly after I got to my room, one of them called to ensure it was okay. I've never had someone be that attentive at a Courtyard. Its close proximity to Whole Foods was an added perk!

Truly wish I could give this location a zero. Customer service completely horrible and they have no concern for your safety. Limited parking is an understatement. I would advise you to arrive early to get valet or you'll be left clutching your purse as you navigate the seedy neighbor. Hands down the worst Marriott I have ever attempted to check-in too. I ended up leaving and booking a room at the Hilton. This was a waste of money but there is no price for my piece of mind nor will I tolerate poor service.

We stayed here with our two young kids and had a great experience. The bistro took such great care of us at breakfast, and we couldn’t believe how delicious the food was for a little cafe. The hotel was clean and well-maintained which has been our typical experience with Marriott. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and we were able to walk to the Capitol in just a few minutes. I’d stay here again.
