I was reluctant to go there on a weekend after reading all the bad reviews. Our weekend stay was good, room was basic but renovated and clean, no bed bug. No issues with front desk. A little noise from the bar downstairs but didn’t feel like a bad area. Cops driving by often. Slept well and will go there again if we go to a concert again in Reading.

Update from previous review prior to staying here. I was in a newly remodeled room. I found it to be comfortable and roomy. I stayed for 7 nights and had no problems. The front desk was excellent. They checked with me daily to make sure everything was good. The remodeling was still a work in progress, and when done will have modern rooms. Look forward to staying there again when in the area.

By far the worse hotel experience I've ever had. First they don't say anything online about a deposit but when you get there they charge you a ridiculous $250 deposit. The hallways were filthy. The room was so dusty that when I got up I ended up getting a bloody nose. First there was no fridge in the room eventhough it said there was on the reservation. the tv did not work, only the apps... terrible sheets on the bed. Noise all night long from people walking around from the bar in the hotel. When it was time to go the shower water was scolding hot and no way to make it cool. thank God my cousin and a room upstairs and i rushed to take a shower b4 we needed to vacate. Go anywhere but here.

To say ghetto is an understatement right down to the staff. Very unprofessional dirty rooms dirty staff. This place is a dump. Nice try with the new rooms though. Don't matter how you try to fix it up and clean it up it will always be a disgusting hot mess. I overheard the housekeeping girl talking about how she was smoking crack in the closet WOW SHE'S A WINNER LMAO.
