We have been coming to this place every year for about 15 years now. It never disappoints. It is an absolutely beautiful place with fantastic views of the river. Huge variety of tubs. Matthew, the bartender was fantastic! Makes really yummy and strong drinks, as well as smoothies! He even refilled my drink for free when a kid in the pool area knocked over my full drink right after buying it! That was so nice! And he was so fun to talk to! One of those bartenders you just like a lot. You don’t want to miss this gem when visiting Pagosa. Worth every penny!!

The most perfect stay! From the moment that we checked in our experience was outstanding, exceeding all our expectations. The young lady at the front desk was helpful and warm, walking us through what was included in our stay. The grounds man showed us around the pools area when we looked a little lost, the bartender in the lounge at the resort was a fantastic historian, and so lovely chatting with us as we listened to live music while we enjoyed drinks before our massage. We stayed only one night but on our way were already talking about our trip back to Pagosa, just so we can enjoy the resort again. Fabulous, fabulous time !

Such a beautiful place to relax and enjoy. The service at the front desk was fast and easy! Gigi helped us, and she was so sweet. She even brought up a bottle of champagne for my parents’ anniversary. The springs itself were very nice. The view was spectacular especially overlooking the river. The rooms were clean although they were pricey since the amenities are included. Having the private terrace of adult only springs was well worth it although the pools with the hotter temperatures didn’t have as nice of a view as those with the 101° pools. Honestly, if you’re looking to spend one night here and enjoy the springs as much as you want, it’s worth the money, but a long term trip might be very costly.

My husband and I chose to road trip for our honeymoon due to pandemic concerns. We decided we wanted the perfect mix of relaxations and adventure. This place will not disappoint! We found the pools and food good and excellent service. 10/10 recommend. We will be back for more trips to come. Richie Summers gets a shout out for being awesome and made our stay so much extra special for our honeymoon. We had an absolute magical time. This is by far our best trip and the staff here are so welcoming and friendly.

How busy is this place Friday through Sunday?

Fairly busy even on a usual basis, more so towards weekends. However; there is alot to offer at the spa and the San Juan River is also available for a cool down. Between the multitude of spas, there's a pool, food bar, cafe, canteen, a large chess game board, the Guinness World Record Hot Spring which feeds each spa. Each pool had temperatures regulated upon a routine basis and the grounds are kept remarkably clean. The crew is outstanding and you can book a massage that will melt your ache away. I highly recommend a visit

Not even a question. I would stay at the springs again and again. We've been there twice now and it is wonderful. My favorite resort. Who cares about breakfast when you can watch the sun rise from a hot mineral spring?

Not sure if there's an airport in Pahgosa, besides the small plane one. Durango has a Regional airport, and it's about an hour's drive away.
