Very friendly staff but little bit to be desired with the cabins. The first night we didnt have any heat and was quite cold for my toddler. We informed the staff the the next morning and they turn on the heaters. When we returned if you have every been around a furnace you know the smell of starting one the first time after not running all season. A strong Aroma of burnt dirt and cobwebs. That was the smell we came back to that afternoon but we had heat. We aired the cabin out best we could and stayed the night but it was enough to make us decide to end our stay a night early and eat the $250 reservation for the next night because of the no refund no exceptions. Be a good place for boys weekend after skiing or if you just needed a place to crash but not for a young family

This was our fourth visit here and as always accommodations were great. Jessica and Fred were so helpful and genuinely nice! Hot tubs were awesome and scenery was spectacular! Loved the mini disc golf course!

We had an excellent stay! Very comfortable cabin. Wonderful breakfasts each morning. Very sweet staff that always had a smile and recommendations for fun and food.

Beautiful location and good price. Nice people too. The wifi is very slow and the TV is constantly glitching, but that's not really why you go to Pagosa. The breakfast was fine. The first downside is that they advertise a hike located behind the hotel, but when we went on the trail, we found a thickly-weeded trail covered with what looked like poison ivy. So I would avoid the trail. The second downside is that the hot water is iffy. Half the time we tried to use it, it wouldn't work. Other than that, nice place. This isn't my real name.

It's free with the room. They give you wrist bands as tickets, since they were getting people camping nearby wandering in and mooching. It's a nice breakfast; they put effort into it. It's not fancy, but it is fresh. They had scrabled eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, toast and I think waffles? It's a serve yourself sorta thing. I thought it was a nice touch.
