Great ambiance, service, and atmosphere. The food was superb. They also had live music. Jack Ellis was wonderful. Overall, a great evening on the patio.

Do not miss this gem of a restaurant if you are in Pagosa—it’s maybe even a reason to plan a trip here?! The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had (don’t sleep on the bone marrow & truffle butter toppings) + their martini w blue cheese olives was excellent, not to mention the absolutely insane peach cobbler. We loved the entire experience. Super friendly service within an incredibly charming, unique setting.

Without a doubt, this was one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The ambiance and setting of an old miner’s shack, as well as the quality of the food was amazing. There are only a few restaurants I would consider a destination. This is one. Well worth traveling a few - or even several hundreds of miles to get to. We met two of the owners, brothers, who were both very friendly. Honestly, Michelin should come by and rate this establishment. Yes - it is that good. We’ll come again. We’ll go out of our way to come again.

What a gem! Stumbled upon this restaurant with my Fiance on a trip out to the National Parks in the area, and we went in not knowing what to expect. They weren't busy so sat us despite not having reservations, which we are most thankful for. I had some of the best Venison I've ever had and she had Lamb Chops. The biscuits were quirky but meh. Salads were good too. Cool place, cool theme and great food!
