I personally love the AC Hotel properties and try to stay at them regardless of what city I'm visiting. The location is convenient to restaurants and bars without being directly on top of them.

A group of us stayed here for a bachelorette party, each two to a room which was reasonable. The suites, however, were 3x the price of a regular room which is not cost-effective or, quite frankly, worth the expense. Just get two rooms if you need to (depending on price) but definitely don't book without checking. Like the other hotel I've stayed at in PBG, the lobby is on the top floor which is interesting. The rooms are very clean, well designed and just super comfortable. One thing I didn't love was the view of the trash bins and alley but that mattered so little since we went all over.

As an event planner for an out-of-town university, I highly recommend the AC Hotel. Jessica L. and her team were amazing. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and our guests. We couldn't have asked for better service and would gladly return!

My sister and I stayed at AC Marriott for two nights. We had initially booked elsewhere, but upon arrival the other place was an obvious no-go. It was 9pm the night of our stay, and I had to find another hotel-- and a significantly better/safer one-- fast. I was able to call Marriott and book the AC right away. Our experience was easy, comfortable, safe, and clean. Not to mention the AC's location was in a good spot; amongst civilization, and in walking distance to the baseball park. We had never stayed at a Marriott prior to this stay, but now plan to go with Marriott as our top preference when booking in the future! Brandon and all the staff at the front desk were genuinely nice to us(not the fake put-on kind you get sometimes) and made us feel comfortable and well considered for. Any minor inconvenience I experienced was taken care of immediately, and we had no major complaints. As young women traveling by ourselves, we felt very safe at the AC Marriott Downtown; besides the above mentioned points, their elevator required room key cards to even access the floor where your room is, meaning someone without a card couldn't even go to a given floor besides the lobby. And, as I understand it, guests who stay on a different floor wouldn't have access to your floor. The layout of the lobby and other areas was pretty open as well, allowing for social/behavioral accountability. Nice bonus was having a clear station on our floor to help ourselves to water and ice!
