This campground is very primitive so make sure you are self contained or bring all that you need if tent camping. Any trailers over 27 feet are going to struggle backing into a spot, be aware of that. Otherwise, it's a nice campground.

The campground was closed but it was open for day use it needs a little bit of work in. But a beautiful look I would definitely Camp there. But you have to remember you're cut off from civilization.

The campground is now blocked with concrete barriers. I don't believe camping is allowed anymore. You will need to look for dispersed camping in the area. The drive was scenic.

Best place to camp for families and friends. Great memories made there.

No the campground is not open.
As long as you use the gears in your Ranger effectively, you'll be fine. The road from Kernville to Kennedy Meadows is windy and narrow, but not particularly steep as a whole.

There are public restrooms but not showers as I recall. Fires in your fire pit only as long as there are no current fire restrictions.
