Nice area so far. I called 4 or 5 different places for dock slips and this was the only place that offered them. There may be others but they were not any that I called. Easy access to the lake and nice area for the family to spend some time. I would recommend for anyone visiting.

Superb recreation area and beautiful garden. Amazing view of lake and first class place to view fall colors. Only issue is, the place seemed dirtier and somewhat smelly this year. Could be something specific to the day I visited, but still.

Today upon my arrivale at this camp site after driving 2 plus hours. I was faced with a horrible women at the front desk. I asked her kindly with my war veteran son who also is a outstanding new york city fireman if we could stay the at the camp site. after a few basic questions, she was instantly irritated with our presence. cold inconsiderate and RUDE....needless to say we took our hard earned money else where. we where so excited to spend time there but she seamed like she couldnt be bothered. i hope she finds peace in that camp site.

You can fish from the shore. You do need a fishing license for anyone 16 or older.
Yes , there is a picnic area . Plenty of shade . Playground for kids
Yes they have a grate that also folds over the pit for ease of cooking. I wouldn't put anything directly on that grate though

Call the campground office or email .. I would suggest asking to speak to Lori. She, or staff member, will be able to answer just about any question you can ask about the campground and your lake rights et.al, the campground is been there for years and it's absolutely beautiful. one of the many gems in our community and I would highly recommend it.
She is considered a service dog, I have the paperwork. But whatever.
