went on Friday at 11 am- was told walk-ins r only on Saturday at 7:30am. went at 7:15 am saturday (03/05/22) - the line was around the next building! took us 2 hours to get to DMV door to get a line/turn #. then waited inside for 2 hours until our turn. we were registering the car we bought - had the title, Bill of sale, insurance. But she says 'no can do, where is the SMOG?!!!! (website says Smog if needed. without saying that it IS DEFINITELY needed) she gave us a moving permit, and the option of either returning next Saturday or making an appointment for next month for the plates.. instead, we went out, did the smog went right back 10 mins later. Except, the lady had not given us a Return Turn Number (?!!!!), so we had to go to the back of the line outside again, got a new turn number, and 3 hours later, got the license plate. from 7:15 am, to 1:30 pm. Can the website be CLEAR as to the paperwork u need?!! Can the ppl who work in the DMV actually work, rather than chat and walk in the back? Can we have more OnLine services - car registrations? moving permits? Can more ppl work at the DMV?!!! Can walkins get turn/line numbers online so the line doesnt have to wind around to the warehouse or at least we can wait in our cars?!!!

I really like their new system where you have to have an appointment but they also have certain hrs. and days for walk-ins. The kiosk is still available. They is someone at the door checking if you have an appointment. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment, was allowed straight in after showing proof of appointment, instructed to go to info window where I was checked in. I was given my number, sat a few minutes before our number was called. The ladies at the window was so pleasant and helpful. Y husband and I were in and out in under 30 minutes. This is by far the best DMV experience since getting our license over 40 years ago. Please keep this process because it works amazingly 👏. Thank you

Scheduled an appointment so I was in and out in less than an hour. My appointment went by smoothly and the employee who assisted me was sooo nice. She was even wearing festive Christmas attire, which was awesome. They even have a food service bar…. Much wow. Very spacious so there was plenty of seating. In Cali, I used to have to sit on the floor or stand so I was very happy. Genuinely had a good time at a DMV of all places lol everyone was nice and very fast. You don’t get that in California.

Yes, you can do standby or request an appointment by phone. I don't recommend doing standby as many people start the line for it a day in advance and many don't get a chance as there is a shortage in testers. But when you make an appointment be prepared to wait upwards of two months to get a test. Good luck

This is trickier than you think at the NV offices. I do not work for the DMV. Had a nightmare experience at a different DMV location regarding this but have not done this transaction at the Flamingo office before. That being said bring 2 forms of primary ID including your AZ lic plus since your marriage is recent Bring marriage cert. Bring a NV friend willing to vouch for you being a NV residence and willing to care about you enough to sit for 8 hours or make an appointment that works for both of you on DMV website. Bring a utility bill in your name. Bring $45 for ID as well as money for the snack bar for breakfast lunch n dinner. If you are registering vehicles do the drive up VIN inspection 1st and bring license plates and registration info. If you have moving violations in AZ then NV may tell you they want you to do another driving test so be prepared for that process as well if you have more than 4 points I believe.

Go to DMV fill the form to change the address and take an appointment. Take your address proof like NV energy bill with you to show them.
After completing the process. They make your current ID void and issue a new paper ID to you until you don't get new ID. And after that within a week you will get your new ID with your new address. ☺

Yes if you have all of the needed paperwork. I am not employed there but you might be able to make an appointment if you try calling first.
Also, you can go on their website to see which days and times they are less crowded. Its very easy to do business at this DMV, all you need is ALL necessary paperwork. It makes it so easy then... You just walk up when they text your cell and the workers employed at the DMV can process almost everything in less than 5 minutes.
I did have all of my paperwork but i did experience a wait time for my picture being taken for my license.
The best part of the wait is that now my license is government approved (meaning i have the necessary gold star to enter most govt places) and it is good for 8 years. I wont need to update it until 2026 now! 😃

It depends on time of day and what day... When I used to work there Wednesday and Thursday was always chill but appointments will always be the fastest way to go

When I worked here I saw this all too many times... Look online it'll tell you all the things that you can bring for your proof of address you need 2.
I would recommend your insurance card if it has your correct address on there now or even your lease agreement.
If you're staying with family or a friend you can bring one of their pieces of mail and have them fill out online a property owner residency affidavit

You are only allowed to take it once A-day and if you think you're going to be cute and just go to a different DMV they're all recorded so you'll be waiting in line for nothing

Yes they are open Saturdays from 8 to 4 Saturday is very busy so either make an appointment or bring a book and your patience
Oh my gosh setting the appointment is a little frustrating. I had to make my appointment 3 months in advance because that's the only availability that would show up on their website. So I made my appointment in October of 2020 and the only slot they had was in January 2021. So my only advice is really to go on their website and make your appointment. I saw people going in person to try making an appointment but I'm not sure how that worked out for them. I honestly just had to wait 3 months.

Who really wants to go to the DMV? First off, I went on knowing that their would be a line outside. I got there around 5:15 am and the line was already around the side of the building.
Good thing I brought a chair and small blanket. They didn't even open till 7:30 am.
On a good note, I think the Officers outside ( who were there early too) Did an excellent job directing people, making sure everyone was wearing masks, and answering questions.
The staff inside are very organize. They got this system going that seems to work. No more chairs inside. Everyone stands on these blue dots they have on the floor until their number is called.
The girl I talked to was very helpful and friendly.
My experience at the DMV on West Flamingo was pretty good, considering I was the DMV, 😊 lolololol.
