My son went here a for knee injury. Had two new patient appointments because the first doc said that his partner was a pro at the type of injury my son had. Each time he went the doc wanted new images, then wanted more follow ups to update notes for insurance to request authorization for surgery ( notes were only two months old). Talked to office manager about this as I felt it was a money grab, not to mention they require payment in full in advance for my estimated cost (over $6k) before they would even schedule the surgery. Reluctantly we went to the office visit. Only to have the doctor treat my son as if it was the first time he was seeing him, requesting more X-rays, then telling my son that his knee was messed up, really messed up, that he needed surgery. Then he turned to me and told me if I hadn't waited so long my son's knee wouldn't be this bad. This is after them requesting x-rays over and over again more follow-up appointments over and over again them pushing out how long he was on his knee with this injury. Then they told us that we should seek another opinion while they talk to their partners about what the best approach to the surgery would be. We left that clinic called University of Washington stadium clinic had an appointment two days later my son's first surgery was 2 months later. He just completed his second surgery. I tell everyone I know not to use Everett Bone and joint worst physicians I have ever dealt with and they're all about the money. Avoid using this clinic at all cost!

Dr. John Pryor is not only a skilled spine surgeon but he is also a compassionate individual, interested in his “whole” patient, not just a symptom. In addition to Dr. Pryor, I have utmost respect for the EBJ support staff. I have had two lumbar surgeries and am so thankful for Dr. Pryor and the care I have received.

Cancelled my surgery 24 hours before I went under the knife. All the cost of appts., prep, meds, tests, injections, etc…. Why did they cancel? Because now they noticed I have a latex allergy. Unprofessional, incompetent, mean, yelled at me as well. Don’t waste your time or money. Not worth risking your health. There is a reason you can get an appt. here so easily.

Unfortunately for me, I am a repeat customer. Lol. After an auto accident, I required a knee orthoscopic and a spinal procedure after exhaustion all other options. Dr Robin Madsen, You are the greatest! Without that intervention, I would still be limping and having other issues due to the serverity of my limp. I also had an extruded disc repaired by Dr. Pryor. Both surgeries within a month of each other. A very delicate procedure. I am grateful it seems to have helped me. Thank you Doctor Pryor! My distinct impression is that if they think they can help you with a medical procedure, they will. And if they cannot, they won’t. (First, do no harm, right?). They are all professionals in their field, so trust and follow their advice. That’s what we pay them for! If they tell you to exercise and loose weight to help yourself, don’t get bent! Try! Every Lb. you lose is one less beating on your feet, knees and hips. If I need a hug, I will call my mom. LOL I cannot thank them, and their professional caring staff, enough for the care I received. Nobody wants to require their care, but I got exactly what I needed, and it’s made A big difference in my quality of life. If you need an orthopedic repair, I am truly sorry. But the professional caring staff at Everett Bone And Joint will do their best to get you as close to fixed as medically possible.

Unfortunately, reception staff must follow doctor and insurance required processes which sometimes creates delays in scheduling or the inability to meet patients' demands. This is not snottiness or rudeness, but instead is them doing their job properly. We do our best to treat all patients with respect and courtesy.
Go and get all the info that you can at the appointment. Make lots of questions and educate yourself about the issue that needs medical attention and always ask for a second opinion.
I'm sorry you had to wait on hold. Sometimes when many people are calling at the same time the wait times can be longer. But we work hard to give each person the time they need while at the same time getting to everyone in a timely fashion. We do not have a system in place unfortunately where we can call you back.
Hi kristian, it may take awhile depending on your insurance. If you are waiting on one you can call us and we can let you know where we are in the process.
