We purchased some lumber from PARR to replace our fence. They were quick to give us an estimate online (within hours) and easy to deal with over the phone. I ordered the lumber via phone on a Monday and it was delivered Thursday afternoon. As I unpacked the lumber most was in great condition but 6 out of 8 of the pressure treated 2x4x 8s were split, broke, and all chewed up. A few of the 10 footers were as well. I called PARR that afternoon and they said I was welcome to bring the wood in for an exchange or they could deliver replacements the next Wednesday or Thursday. I opted for the delivery again. They said they’d give me a courtesy call the next week to notify me of a delivery time. Next week came, no call, no lumber delivery. I’ve called them several times over several days and can no longer get anyone to answer or call me back. I’ve also sent an email with no response. Terrible customer service and now our project has been delayed. Was hoping to have the fence completed before company arrived next week, but that obviously won’t be happening. Save yourself the headache and skip PARR!!

I have been here a couple of times for material needed for the house I am remodeling. They have been very friendly and helpful loading my truck. Their customer service has been outstanding, unlike the service at the 2 big box stores. Will do business with them again, even though it is way out of my way.

Very disappointed in the service at Parr Lumber in Tacoma,Wa.Should say, LACK of Service. From the moment we stepped in there it was poor.We were sent upstairs where we stood for a few moments while the salesmen chit chatted and were ignored. Then sent back down stairs to the front desk. Ended up ordering AND paying for decking. They didn't even have the cedar and composite we ordered on hand. Was going to be days out. Soon got a call that they did something wrong so they were putting 20 dollars back in our account. THEN they called again and said they made ANOTHER mistake but this time it would cost us 675.00 MORE dollars! WHAT? Are you kidding me ? I think they should eat that amount but we just cancelled the whole deal. Now, No deck in time for things we had planned! Grrr DO NOT USE PARR LUMBER.!! They don't care about the little man. We aren't contractors so our 2000.00 dollar order meant NOTHING to them. Jillian needs more training!! Should not have been left up to the front desk young lady to figure decking measurements out. She led us astray! Don't know who reads these but we are pretty upset. Do your homework and look elsewhere BEFORE using Parr Lumber. I hope Parr Lumber reads their reviews! Couldn't be much more upset! Karma to Parr Lumber! Shame on you for miss treating your customers. LD Bonney Lake, Wa.

We are just in the beginning stages of stocking the Fortress Railing. It is available in black sand (matte) finish and gloss black. We do have samples of each on our display decks out front. Most product is next day to us.
