I could not say enough good things about the people at Sunrise Blvd Self Storage! Erin was a dream to work with and she really went out of her way to make things go smoothly. I had stopped at most the other facilities on South Hill and the surrounding area but Erin was the only one that was friendly and helpful right from the start. There is no place I would rather have my things being looked after than Sunrise. The fact that they have a new state of the art hi-def camera system as well as new ultra-bright lighting, leaves me assured that all is well with my belongings. If they had a sixth star, I would give it to them!

I have been very happy with my experience with sunrise storage. Staff has been friendly and helpful. Onsite ground manager Freddy is awesome guy always helping and friendly. They are currently upgrading the exterior fence with walls to keep out the unwanted individuals that like to steal. Gee go figure that walls help deture the lawlessness. They have spacious area for RV, BOATS, TRAILERS, as well as Storage units to rent. I do wish the access was 24/7 that's the only downside.

I showed up with my new travel trailer at closing time on a Saturday to do leasing paperwork. Erin was very patient and stayed an extra 30-60 minutes to allow me to complete all the paperwork. Very impressed with the customer service she provided!

Originally I gave this facility a five star review, but since then I have had a troubling experience. My storage unit was broken into in December. I was notified by Katie that "my lock was missing" only to arrive at the facility and see that my lock had obviously been grinded off. Staff at the facility told me that mine was the only unit broken into, and that it looked like most of my stuff was in there still. They should not have looked inside the unit, this made filing a police report extremely difficult because touching and tampering with the unit meant the police could not collect evidence. I also found out about 5 minutes later that another unit had been broken into when its renter arrived and walked passed me. It was extremely frustrating getting mixed information from staff about my unit. I ended up taking what was left of my things and vacating the unit. The lock I used was one of the ones sold by the facility. It took a week to get the keys back to the facility for the new lock because when I came back to the facility twice during business hours, no one was there. When I originally started storing at this facility, we signed up for what I was told was insurance. This was not clearly explained, and as a first time renter I did not understand I would also need to get renter's insurance from a different company. This means that the extra insurance plan I paid for on my unit does not actually cover the theft of my items and I lost a significant amount of money. The property manager was nice, I helped him install a new lock. Erin was also helpful. **update** To clarify, I received a small amount of money through the insurance. What I received totals less than 1/4 of what I lost in the unit. I lost a significant amount of money because of this.
