There was a Hispanic older female employee who was working around 1 pm on august 3rd. She was not helpful at all. My items were returned to the seller that same day an not delivered about an hour prior and she would not even tell me if my items were there or not. She says, “military policy not even with a valid ID could I tell you that information or give you your items. It’s out of my hands. Don’t shoot the messenger.” What ever happened to going above and beyond for your job?? You’re working on a military base for goodness sake have some compassion for it’s members. I am appalled by her response and lack of concern. Not once did she move her body from her stool. I reckon this is an easy job. Sign me up I want to work there too!!

I just had the greatest experience at this USPS. Christ helped me send off my packages to my Grandmother and Mother for Mother’s Day. She was very patient, soft spoken and super kind with me. I recommend everyone to visit this USPS for all your postal needs, you will be welcomed with open arms and taken care of in a timely and efficient manner. Outstanding Costumer service!

The man who works the front desk knows exactly what I need when I come in! The lady that sometimes works the front always says I can't send my mail, there is no such thing as the mail service I'm asking for. She is very rude. If she's working the front and you need help just go to a different office. The service I always ask for is metered first class non machineable postage.

The woman previously mentioned in reviews gets off on denying people to send their packages. You can measure and weigh everything correctly, cover up any previous package markings to avoid the machine making scanning errors, and she will still ask you 1,000 questions about your package to find a way to deny sending it. I have never had a worse experience. She even butted into one of her Co workers transactions to deny the other patron sending his wife carefully packed toiletries during BCT. She basically accused me of being a liar and a criminal for mailing something to my father who could not receive this space heater that he ordered online because he lives in a rural area off power and only has a PO Box.

You have to fill out a hold mail form. Your unit mailroom should have them. If the mailbox you are referring to is stateside, then you must file a hold mail with the post office. If your mail is still going to Afghanistan after your return, you should complete the change address card at unit mailroom so the mail will be forwarded to you.
Yes it is, but they close early. I take your mail to the Dupont post office though, because this one will lose your stuff and ensure it doesn't arrive to the proper location.
