Hot water in our home suddenly became scalding hot. I submitted a work order for them to inspect the overall system, adjust temperature if necessary. They arrived 24 hours later and ONLY adjusted the temperature w/o exploring why it changed all of the sudden. While we waited the water heater then failed and we had absolutely no hot water for 36+ hours. They cancelled subsequent urgent work orders and we had to call again 4 times to get someone to the house. The maintenance techs did their thing and found a bad circuit breaker for the water heater. The technicians went to their parts warehouse to get a replacement, but came back empty handed telling us we'd need to wait til the next day so they can locate the part. We had to resort to boiling water to take baths, dishwasher not optimal, laundry not adequately capable. This operation is sad to say the least. Paying $2,600 a month for what?! Calling them w/ no viable compromise. It's sickening to treat the military members and their families this way.

I can't put no stars but I would like to. We have had the unlucky option to live on post, in Lincoln contracted housing. Housing was never this bad when the Army and Airforce were managing it. Civilians have run the Housing department to the ground and it's all about a budget for them. The poor communication, lack of professionalism by several of the "managers" like "KIMBERLY" makes me question why they stopped the military from running things. You can't trust civilians to take care of service members even when it is literally their job to. We are dealing with enough between deployments, field exercise and serving our country, being treated so poorly and living in bad housing shouldn't be something we have to worry about.

Why doesn’t anyone answer the phone? I don’t know how many times I have reached out. I call daily ,I’ve came in person and I was instructed to be able to use reasonable accommodation I need to have a provider fill out the form. However, we just go here I freaking have lung disease and it’s a huge Covid peak meaning I’m more compromised than before.Well unfortunately I can’t be seen on base for several months because they’re backed up. I can’t even get a refill on my inhaler. I guess you guys pick and choose when to work and who’s important and who’s not. Certainly feels that way. I personally witnessed lower ranking families get a home instantly while others wait and receive nothing. The system is trash and even switching companies I don’t see a difference . Under the fair housing act I shouldn’t have to go through this. It’s unlawful. I’m considering going to the news, chain of command or writing congress at this point . I think legal action with an attorney is probably best because I see borderline health discrimination.

Liberty military housing is ridiculous. The houses are poorly manufactured and maintained. They run a monopoly on housing that is convenient for soldiers and take advantage of it constantly. For a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath they charge upwards of two thousand dollars a month for my pay grade and then having any work orders for things that will inevitably go wrong is nearly impossible unless it's for something small. The neighborhood I'm in is being renovated and yet we still have to pay 500 dollars to have the house inspected to move out, even if we moved into another house on post. They would not be losing any money from us and yet they still want to take advantage of soldiers by charging fees and causing unnecessary financial strain for subpar housing. Also, the BAH rates are going up. And so they will take more from service members without increasing the quality of the housing. When we moved into our neighborhood it was E-1 through E-5. They have upgraded a few of the homes in the neighborhood and suddenly it's an E-5 through E-6 housing and they will not allow you to move within the neighborhood or into another housing area on post unless you outrank the neighborhood you're in or if you have seven dependents in the household. SEVEN in a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath 1100 square foot house with no central air. Liberty military housing is a group of thieves who takes advantage of a terrible housing market for personal gain. And the employees are awful to deal with. Got told that I could try to report poor service, and that they would deal with whatever trickles down to them when it happens. There is no repercussions for them being rude and unhelpful to the customers and service members.
