Radon is a naturally occurring, radioactive gas that is very common in CT. Radon gas is colorless and odorless and can have significant health effects. Outside, radon disperses and typically has no health impact, but if accumulated inside it *can* become dangerous. That said, there is no need to worry given that it can be EASILY controlled with cost effective techniques! Simply have your home tested, and a professional can install a solution or system if the levels are deemed high. Radon levels can usually be brought down to safe measures within 24 hours.
