The second floor at the Wesley homes health center is where we see the potential thrive-the residents’ well-being remain a high priority thanks to the combined efforts of the nursing team leader along with the therapy team. However the Executive Director Greg Byrge can be quite unapproachable, untoward and generally distant from the day-to-day happenings of this floor. His lack gratitude and acknowledgment of the fact that there is so much that the staff here continues to do in efforts of making sure the patients/residents are well taken care of is much to be said. Rarely does he stop by to appreciate the staff or even acknowledge the state of the residents’ being. In times as such where we all are in support of each other is when we need reminded that all our efforts do not go unrecognized. The administration as a whole could make time and touch base with all other departments that make all the ‘moving parts’ work as a whole- from housekeeping to dietary to the nursing dept and esp what the nurses’ aides do on a daily basis. The above mentioned staff deserve a much needed recognition and appreciation and it is up to you Greg to set that example. A leader encompasses even the minute detail... if that isn’t too much of an observation to consider that is.

I was placed here twice after shoulder surgery and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and efficient. The therapy was awesome I could tell they all had my best interest at heart.

This staff is horrible. Do not bring your loved one here. Call lights go unanswered for more than 30 mins at a time. The nurses and cnas lie and misrepresent. It only looks nice, they are horrible. This place should be shut down.

My mother spent just over 7 weeks at Wesley Lea Hill nursing and rehabilitation facility after a fall and we could not have been happier. She has never liked health care providers but after settling in for a few days she really enjoyed herself and did not want to leave when it came time for her discharge. I was able to meet most, if not all, of her caregivers and was very impressed with each and every one I met. The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous, clean and modern. The food according to my mother was "very good" as were to social opportunities available to her. The staff could not have been more attentive, patient, professional and friendly. I'm certain they have the best possible staff that is available and they have chosen exactly the right people. I've been to other facilities for other relatives and while they did what they were suppose to do Wesley Lea Hill was in a whole other league.
