I waited 4 months to write this review because I didn't want to come off as speaking from emotion. My mother had a stroke while fighting cancer. The intensive care unit was really good. That section of the hospital was professional and caring. Once she moved to the 6th floor she became a number and not a priority one. The night nurse and a traveling nurse were the only nurses that did anything for my mother without reporting them or yelling at them first. My mother lay in her own urine or feces till a family member or the night nurse cleaned her.The day nurse, Bobbi was ...I'm not sure if she was just lazy or inept. She never seemed to have time to turn my mother or clean her. She bathed her once, in the 2 weeks I was there. My siblings and I repeatedly ask for care and got excuses. Yes we notified the floor nurse who came down once and never followed up on our complaints. Once the physical therapist assigned to my mother told Bobbi my mother was wet and needed to be changed before she could do therapy. I steped into the hall to give my mom some privacy while they cleaned her up. I could her the therapist telling the nurse off through the door for being lazy. The resident doctors were young and seemed to either powerless when trying make the nurses do th+ere jobs or afraid the nurses would complain about them. The young male doctor tried and was ignored. There were two young female doctors from India or Pakistan that were assigned to my mother. After 2 weeks the senior of the two let us know that someone else needed my mother's bed more than she did. My mother had bed sores that hadn't healed and her blood pressure kept dropping. They struggled to stabilize her. They let us know once she was stable they Would discharge her whether we wanted to or not. They were trying to put in a feeding tube in her stomach and give her meds to mask her illness to be rid of her. I feel like they were sending her off to die. She did 2 weeks later.

Lovely facilities...depending on where you are. The staff can be a bit rude at times, and Noone ever seems to know where anything is. Not helpful if you don't know exactly where it is you need to be. Parking of course is horrible. It is a hospital though. All and all I'd rather be at Mercy.

AWFUL! The Surgeon will send u home before your ready and without anything for the pain from the surgery they just did after being admitted through the er to have my appendix out. It was a horrible recovery and over a month later I am still struggling. Please don’t take your loved ones here you WILL REGRET it!

All of the OU Health Science facilities are excellent. The University of Oklahoma Health Science Center is the hospital for all the citizens of the state of Oklahoma. You can come here and get the treatment you need, in a courteous and respectful manner. The doctors here take the time to make sure that they get it right, and that you fully understand what is going on at every step of the process.

Being OU they have everything needed give them a call
Yes, it is through their adolescent medicine department
18 and older
Pretty sure that would be protected information not given out to just anyone. If you are not on the birth certificate you may be out of luck.
Kim, I'm not sure if you mean OU, or childrens. There the Ronald McDonald House with Childrens. As for the hospital, they can set up something for Mom, or Dad to stay in room
On the 1st floor west of the Diagnosis center
Adults or childrens? Children's ortho is on the 3rd floor, adults is located in the physicians building off of 10th street
They aren't too busy, but currently there is a large amount of construction currently.
I would think so there is a cadaver lab where there is both research and academic use of cadavers.
Sorry to hear that call or Google some free clinics they may be able to help or direct you to someone that can
Sorry i don't have the answer to that question but i suggest you call your doctors to ask them.
You may try googling free dental clinics open on the weekends as well
Depends on the service you receive you may also want to call an Urgent Care Clinic to see what the charge is there it could be cheaper in the end.
If i were you I'd call the administration office to verify.
Call them this is ridiculous
If for you, there should be records, but may take some effort to find them. For someone else, you will need a medical power of attorney. Google OU medical Center records to get to the website for requesting them.
there are free clinics just google free clinics near me and theres also places that do hep testing free as well
Call the NAACP they should know what to do.
Probably, but not 100% sure. Very good hospital best in Oklahoma.
Free parent tray.
Not that i could think of but i have alot of respect for you all at childrens hospital i lost a brother their i spent alot of time in Aikman's corner thank you for doing what you do!
No..
It depends on each individual's situation. I would call and ask to speak with her nurse to start the screening process to get you as an approved visitor. However if you are approved you will not be allowed to leave and return.
SHALOM More than likely U might want to contact the Department of Human Services or maybe The Ronald McDonald House, Shriners, Free Mason's also the Jimmy Everett Cancer center. OU Medical Centers Social Services department. Hopefully i've assisted U! Thanks Shalom Shabbat ricky jenkins Doulos to the House of YAH 🙏 Praise YEHOVAH HIMSELF LIVES U be Blessed now Please

Yes, we do. Go to findadoc.oumedice.com and search for Pediatric urologists.
Not sure but Most of the Hospitals have some sort of assistance program for the Disadvantaged. Thanks Shalom
I'm sure we have the availability to do so but I'm not sure how the process begins.
It's always been my experience that if you ask His Doctor & the Nursing staff about this. They will be more than a little accommodating. ie will provide you with a personal bed and TLC to match! Thanks Shalom
There is an Embassy Suite a few blocks from OU campus.
Yes they do
Im assuming hospital beds...... OU is big, pretty sure its the premere trauma facility in OK, so if you need something big done its usually done here
it is, it's on 1st floor past the ER, on the left hand side and yes toddler will be sedated mine had to have 2 done and both times he was sedated
Yes, one study had started in December of 2018.
Taxi, bus, Uber, Lift
Just north of the building P1 entry is on the west side
you should just call them with those kind of questions. I am not sure but no hospital is supposed to turn you away with no health insurance and most likely if not emergency department then you'll need an appointment.
NOW!! What are you waiting on?
So very sorry to hear that, will definitely keep him in my prayers.
They should have someone in the administrative office that can help you such a a social worker for the hospital hope this helps
Yes you should. Go to first floor and ask
I don't know about the doctors on that part. My daughter's doctor is Meyers.

OU's emergency room with a third world country
Unknown....I had heart attack and treatment there over a year ago....
I really don't know how that is humanly possible but if anyone can "dislodge" this bit of greenery it would likely be the nice people of OU medical center. Have you tried throwing up? How about a shop vac? I'm just grasping for straws here. Wait a minute... You are telling me you have gone around for six weeks with a bit of salad in your throat? Can you swallow other foods or beverages?
Yes...go to emergency room....ask for a social worker
Depending on the level of seriousness the condiction of gahlblatter.. I would think yes.
You will have to have an appt with a Dr there 1st. If it's serious, go to the Emergency room
You're kidding, right?
If you need to go to the hospital I wouldn't worry about legal trouble you may end up dying from whatever
You need to get medical referral....sorry, best I can do.
You should use CBD oil
Thank you isabella
Only in your car. Outside, it's all labeled no smoking.
They will be available at The first Floor of Children's just go to the Admitting Office near the Cafeteria
