There was 12 of us waiting at 8am and the whole staff was in a meeting. They started taking people in at 8:44am. No effort from the ladies up front to send a message to interrupt the meeting. How inconvenient and rude in there behalf to have this meeting first thing in the morning.

Tomorrow I’ll be going to the same location for the 3rd time in 2 weeks for the same issue that was supposed to be resolved via a phone call to the card company who supposed to be the liaison to the department. To cut it short, I can’t receive much needed help because of repetitive false assurances that the issue would be resolved. Multiple people looked me dead in my eyes and told me that they would call the debit card company that had my card on hold to have the hold released. I was as courteous as I could be during my first two visits for this issue but now I’m starting to think they are just walking all over me and lying to me just to get me out of the building to move on to the next client. I deeply detest the fact that I can’t call and have this taken care of myself and have to beg at the mercy of this department to operate as it should.

No. Also appointments obtained over the phone on their appointments line will be much further out than if you go there and get an appointment card.

I've been waiting since April 12, 2020, can't get anyone one the phone anymore. The message says: Due to Oklahoma Law I don't qualify due to lack of work . I'm self-employed and have work for 30 yrs., I sent them 1099's can't get past this part?

I would suggest you go to the Employment Security Commission located at 2401 N Lincoln Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73105. Google says that it opens at 8 am, but you'll need to get there as early as you possibly can. I got there at 6:45 am last Tuesday (thinking I'd try to camp out and be first in line) and there were literally 112 people ahead of me. Afterwards, I'd told my friend about it and she decided to go the very next day; she got there at 5:30 am and there were already over 150 people waiting. They only allow anywhere between 150-200 people in the building at a time. So, again, get there early! Lol. Once you get a number, they'll take you downstairs--to an auditorium--where you'll wait to be seen. Because there were so many people in front of me, I actually left to run some errands and still came back with plenty of time to spare. It wasn't until about 3 pm that I was finally able to speak with someone, but my issue was finally resolved. I'd say that's your best bet. Good luck!
