My son has seen many audiologists in the past. He is speech delayed and has had many ear infections. He never sat through any of these tests. He would fight the whole test entirely. The audiologists in the past were never engaging with my son. They would tell me that he “passed” with the information they could get. Which made me feel uneasy that they would pass him with such little information. I was so happy to find this facility. We met with audiologist Dr Laura Brady. She sat with us and actually heard my concerns. She engaged with my son and was very personable. She told me how thorough she is with her tests which made me feel confident I finally found the right place. When we came for the test, I was very impressed with their lobby. It made my son feel so comfortable with the walls painted with animals, cars, and other themes. Dr. Brady came out and discussed with me how we would be taking my son straight to the booth to avoid him having to wait and feel uneasy. My son sat through THE WHOLE TEST. I could not believe it. Dr. Brady made him comfortable! He sat through the headphones, the ear piece test, everything. He passed and I left feeling so confident as a parent. Dr.Brady went above and beyond for us. She gave me tips on how to help my son with speech and communication. That I should be sitting in with him during his speech appointment. I appreciate everything that we received during this appointment. I can not thank her enough and all of the kind staff, for all of the information she gave us. 1000% highly recommend!

The speech therapist student we saw, "Bridget" was not kind, was dismissive, and got information in my son's report wrong. It was done extremely sloppily with missing and incorrect information. If I could give 0 stars I would. Save yourself the hassle and go to Cleveland Clinic or Therapy Wellness Connections. The student clearly was in a rush to finish her work and my sons report shows it. Very poor excuse for an evaluation, it is honestly embarrassing.

If I could have given no stars I would have. Extremely extremely disappointed. I was told on the phone that the Audiologist could help me with my situation. When I got there I was told that they could not help me at all. I will never go to Cleveland again for anything again.

This is by far one of the premier places to go for audiology care. I have been a client here since I was 5 years old. My hearing aids have changed my life tremendously since my hearing loss was first identified in 1997. Being able to hear my tv, go to school and be successfully mainstreamed from self contained Deaf education to regular education classes with ASL interpreters and live a normal life overall. I am truly grateful. It pleases me very much to see the expansion to many more locations and addition of newer staff. I initially was at their University Circle location and now utilize their Broadview Heights location. If you need a hearing test or any other services as it pertains to hearing and speech, please give them a chance.

Questions & Answers

Is Karen Kantzes still at the center? I saw her years ago and she has been helpful over the years. I lost her email address. I have a question for her can you share her contact information?

I'm not sure if she's still there. I really just know the people my child deals with. Sorry.

Had sudden complete hearing loss & need to communicate with hearing center. I have no Computer or WiFi. Able to receive & send texts. Is there a number I can use for texting to arrange for help with equipment, etc. Thanks!

Christina - we do charge for a cleaning if the aid was not purchased from us. Our most economical option is to use our walk-in clinic service (first come - first serve) versus making an appointment. A walk-in clinic cleaning is usually $15 per aid. Of course, if you need any replacement parts those may be extra. Hope that hepls!
