The Red Cross helps people who are victims of fires, floods and natural disasters. If you are in need of furniture you can contact the social service dept at your local hospital and they can assist you in getting furniture through a furniture bank. For example if you go to MetroHealth you can call and ask for their social service dept. Then tell them your needs and they can tell you if they are able to assist you. Hope this helps.
