They are doing construction so it was a bit confusing to find the pedestrian entrance. I can cut them some shack as they are working to make improvements. Worker who was addressing those waiting for ferry was difficult to understand and seemed crabby. Everyone was confused.

Great way to visit Seattle and not have to drive around and pay for parking. Trip both ways was under 30 bucks which is cheaper then gas from Shelton, and gave my girlfriend and I a chance to sit back and relax after walking around the city all day. Kinda a long wait between ferry's but the company I had made it worth it will definitely be going back for another trip soon

Yay! Almost home! Very sweet of them to get me on the ferry ⛴ at the last moment! Always great customer service!

Honestly I was dreading my first ferry ride here. But I am glad to have been wrong. Quick and easy. Honestly it's to expensive but hopefully that will change after Covid.

35 minutes but there is unload time involved. Unless you are on foot.
It takes 50+ minutes. Or you can take the fast, Kitsap ferry, that takes about 28 minutes, though you can't bring your car on the fast ferry.
If you are talking about Bainbridge to Seattle it has not changed yet.
Your best bet would be to take a Metro bus to the ferry. Bet there is plenty of commercial parking available nearby. Just Google it. We have driven many times, but we really enjoyed our hassle free day leaving the car at home.
Not that I've seen. The wsdot site may have more info.
I counted yesterday evening, from the corner of 1st & Marion, to the plank of the B.I. ferry it was about 625 steps
Yes, for now. The last I read, it is to close in August. There is a new one being built on Columbia.
On a Saturday morning, the doors were not open until 5:30am, thirty minutes before the first sailing.
Walk on is around $8. For cars, Google Washington State Ferries
Its easiest just to take the light rail to Pioneer Street Station, then just walk the two blocks west to the dock. I was in Seattle a month ago and did that myself.
If you drive there is a large carpark at the ferry terminal. If your going on public transport the bus station/depot is right next to the ferry terminal too
Directly in front of the terminal on Alaskan Way
