This place is AMAZING! So tasty that you wouldn’t even care it is vegetarian! The three cup duck & the spicy tofu pot is just so good - the tofu is really soft, and it’s so savory that you can easily finish the rice with it! Definitely one of the best restaurant in the area!

Great food, super nice waitresses! I especially loved how they have so many "meat" dishes made out of fake meat. Most vegetarian places just have purely vegetable dishes, so I appreciated the variety, as well as the chance to eat things that taste like meat without giving up my morals.

Love this place. Eat there at least twice sometimes three thing a month. No problems. My order is always correct and hot. Excellent customer service. Great food.

Yuan Fu is actually vegan! It’s not that uncommon for vegan restaurants to sometimes use ‘vegetarian’ in their name or marketing, Vegetable Garden in Silver Spring also sometimes refers to itself as a vegetarian restaurant but it’s actually vegan also. Technically, all vegan restaurants are by definition vegetarian as well, but Yuan Fu uses no animal products of any kind. Perfect for food allergies and dietary restrictions! They also mark down on the menu which of their items contain gluten, and which items are especially spicy.
Yes...there are may be 10 dishes that are gluten free. You have to specifically request the gluten free order.
