My mother has lived at Moranda for the last few years however recently in the memory unit after the weekend we have found wet unire soaked bedding and wet clothes shoved in her closet with her clean clothes. She had not been given a shower or had her hair washed on Saturday as required.

My grandma is not taken care of and I wish I had the money to move her from this place and/or a lawyer to sue. Don’t come here for a loved one to be taken care of. My family is stressed and overwhelmed with the lack of care. As a hurt and disappointed family member of this care home, I am infuriated that basic support and oxygen tanks can’t be filled when needed!

My aunt has been at Morada since February 2018. Between the pandemic and the change in ownership, the facility has gone to hell. For the past year I have complained in writing multiple times that my aunt is not receiving the basic level of care required by her care plan, and for which she is paying handsomely. When her private caregiver (yes, we have to pay for private care on top of what we are paying Morada!) and I visit my aunt, too often we find her soaking wet in an overflowing Depends, without her dentures in place. Yesterday the kitchen had no creamer, no milk, no ice, no soda... In June my aunt re-broke her left arm. Today, WEEKS later, I received a call from a staff member at Morada to tell me that my aunt's arm was badly bruised. The private caregiver notified me back in June that the shoulder was badly bruised, I have had her to the doctor, and I have reported to management that she needs to wear the sling that is in her room all the time. Why hasn't anyone from Morada called me about the bad bruising for all these weeks!? Why isn't there a note in her chart that the arm is broken and should be in a sling?!? In the past year there have been several managers and nursing supervisors. With every change in leadership I have been assured that NOW its going to get better. I can't wait for that magic day any longer. I'm moving my aunt to another facility as soon as I can find one.

I got a chance to work with their Director Nora, This lady is action-orientated, professional and amazing. Their Marketing Director Rusty is very cheerful. Strongly recommend !
