I was at the Olympics tbis week end, very nice event. One concern is that local Santeros or Nativ Americans were not selling art at NM, this really insulted local artists.. Please consider highlighting NM ar supporting NM in the future, thanks

Hello, we are a sports organization. When we do hold in person Special Olympics competitions and Games here in New Mexico, we do not allow any vendors to sell items aside from providing food for the Special Olympics athletes who are competing. Also, we are not currently holding in-person trainings or competitions due to public health orders and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 2/1/2021

Is there an age limit for participation in sports events?

Persons at least 8 years of age who have an intellectual disability (ID) are able to participate in Special Olympics programs. There is not an upper age limit. We have Special Olympics New Mexico athletes with age ranges between 8-85 years old!
