Called these people at 5:30 for help, and here I am at 8:30 still waiting.. they said they could take up to 30 minutes.. this is horrible. Fortunately I'm not in a very dangerous situation, but when people can't rely on the police eventually they start taking matters onto their own hands. At least be honest and don't leave me here waiting all night.

911 operators are the most useless, lazy and unhelpful civil servants EVER! Called for active drug use on the street corner, instead of doing anything, she told me to call 242 cops? For what it takes 15 mins at least for them to awnser, by this time they were done getting high. Lol great job, and we wonder why the city is the way it is. With employees like this, whom collect a pay check for doing nothing...and we wonder why the 505 is in the state it's in.

As an out of state person driving thro Albuquerque was a wake call about problems of law enforcement in this city/state. Entering the city on I-25S, some maniacal NM driver violently cut me off as I was in the left lane trying to pass another. I missed him by inches or perhaps centimeters. Later near I-25/I-40 junction some freaking weirdo was zooming at over 100mph from left to right lanes and vice versa endangering everyone on the road. These type of violent/aggressive driving behavior is only seen in megametros of this country. I'm sure NM state/city police is perhaps doing their level best given political, financial, resource constraints- perhaps city administration needs to review its policies but things are not under control on the roads. TX police has speed traps/radars all over their larger cities with free-flowing traffic tickets which has cut back on this type of violent driving behavior. NM state and city troopers need to start handing out tickets left and right (seems like $s are needed for the city in many ways anyways). Not sure if I can recommend NM for a visit to anyone else unless law enforcement is improved on the roads and elsewhere in the city.

You should go into a substation during business hours and make a police report. Place a fraud alert on your credit portfolio with the three major credit bureau asap. This prevents new accounts from being opened in your name. In addition, contact your banks and inform them that your identity has been compromised. If your wallet/purse was stolen, be sure to deactivate any cards you suspect could be used against you and report this to police. If you act quickly, you can minimise further damage to your identity and credit. Good luck!
