I'm glad they took an injured bird in but a little bit more kindness from the secretary will be nice

Very nice people! Took in a wounded pigeon for us! Awesome that they accepted no charge but they do accept donations! Well worth it to help out. Thank you!

Took a baby wild baby bird, they informed us what kind of bird it was and we left a donation, it was refreshing to know our baby bird will hopefully be able to flourish.

Open every day, but hours are restricted and will reduce in the winter. They took the Cooper's hawk but will have to send it to another rehab facility to fix it up. I'm glad they are doing what they do to rescue animals.

I have no idea. You may want to call their #
You could ask the zoo if they would take it. The zoo definitely takes in surrendered pets and it would get cared for and have a great place to live. We do have wild red eared sliders in NM but releasing a pet into the wild is dangerous and could easily kill him because he doesn't know how to survive.
Skyler, Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to go out and pick up animals - we are an all volunteer organization with limited resources. You'll need to bring them to us in order for us to be able to help them. We are open for intakes from 9am to 2pm every day. I hope this helps.
Yes, Wildlife Rescue (344-2500) is open at 10am. Keep it in a box with a soft towel somewhere that won't get too hot or cold overnight.
11 years and under must volunteer with an adult. At 12 she can volunteer by herself. All volunteers must buy the training manual, pass a test, and sign a release. I'd recommend taking the trainings in the spring where they cover everything on the test.
Yes call 344-2500 for more information
No, but call 344-2500 for more information. Thanks!
Call Wildlife Rescue at 344-2500 and they will try to point you in the right direction...good luck
Yes. Call 344-2500 for more information.
4 parts water to 1part sugar
Leave him in the box undisturbed and take him to the Wildlife Rescue Center in the morning. Don't try to feed him tonight.
Putting the bird in a box is probably a good idea. It is usually best not to feed it or bother it at all overnight. I don't have experience trying to get a baby bird back in a nest, so you should contact the rescue. Good luck
I would recommend calling the people at Wildlife Rescue (344-2500) to discuss the best course of action. Often, less involvement with the animal is best, but they may have scone specific things you should do and not do. Good luck!
I would take them I have some before
