I have called 3 times to report the behavior of Angel Montoya (Supervisor). Her behavior towards my Daughter & my Father (retired firefighter/with dementia)was rude and lacked any compassion. It is an embarrassment as an employee there at North Domingo Baca Multinational center. Her behavior doesn’t align with what I was taught during my orientation & through my supervisor. We are there to serve the public not deny services especially when my Dad is suffering with depression. I have not received any returned calls from Senior Affairs department. I am assuming Angel’s behavior is acceptable 🥺

Today I read the Senior Transportation reviews and this organization has a showing of 2.4 stars. I was surprised to see this. This morning (April 18) I made a grocery reservation for Smith’s at 8040 Academy Rd NE for Thursday April 21, with their pickup at 12:30pm and a return trip home at 1:30pm (one hour). Great, no problem. They require a three day notice, and I respect their requirement. Around 2:45pm today I called them to change to the Walmart store at 8000 Academy Rd NE (located in the same shopping center) instead of Smith’s. These two stores are less than one-half block apart, located on the same side of the strip. I found the young phone receptionist rude and relayed to her she was disrespecting me. She scheduled me instead for pickup at 12:30 (same) and return home at 2:30pm (two hours). She stated she didn’t have a driver to pick me up at 1:30pm. WHAT!!?? She made no sense because these two stores are basically at the same location. I am very angry with her treatment of me. Because of muscle weakness I am unable to shop for long periods. Due to Covid19, stores have removed all benches from their stores, making it difficult to sit and rest inside the store. I am 79 years old with three years of college education, retired from a world-wide company after 22 years, plus a government position with Child Protective Services in California. Seniors are not worthless human beings, and this young person needs to be trained in developing a better positive attitude towards senior citizens. One day she will be one.

They really are kind of a joke. They say they will do minor repairs for seniors but when they come and tell you it is a minor plumbing repair they then tell you they can't fix it because it is a liability for senior affairs to make any repairs. This is even when you offer to buy the small part that would be required. And they get funding for this? Ridiculous.

53 minutes on hold at this point. Says press 1 to leave a message. So I press 1. Nothing happens. Good to see what my tax money is being used for.
