I was in store today to pick up a few supplies for my cats and this is hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had in the Silverdale store. Carlos was working the front desk and he was pretty rude about everything or had no information when I asked him questions. He is unprofessional and I am absolutely angry. I asked why the website showed products in stock at the Silverdale location but the shelves were empty. I even asked why half of the products on the shelves had no price labels and why others were mislabeled. He would stutter or tell me that isn’t his department. When I asked what he could help me with, he just gave me attitude. I purchased a cat toy that said it was $5 and change but rang up for $1 and change. I asked if he knew why things were in disarray and he still wouldn’t answer. I took a breath and asked what information he had but he still copped an attitude. I then tried to special order a 9.75 lb box of food that was supposed to be in stock but he wouldn’t help me with that either. I left in an extremely bad mood and it wasn’t even worth the drive from Bainbridge. I even asked a different employee and all she said was to grab everything I wanted and she could check it out but at that point I didn’t even want to shop there anymore. If this is how you run a business, I’m embarrassed for you. Please train your employees to help customers. It would have gone a long way if he had attempted to get a managers attention to help out.

The set up was just not appealing and the staff said "yes we do military discount but I don't want to bother my manager for a 10% off discount does it matter if you get it?" I said "no but I have other places to be, I'm going to go" I left my items there and left peacefully I felt pushed out by this comment and a few others after words. If the employee would have said we do but I don't have the code and my manager is currently busy, Or I'm new and I'm just not sure how to input that. I'd be fine but to say I don't want to bother my manager for a just a small discount 🙃... well I felt other prejudices were hidden in this person's tone. Basically you have good products and I hear great training, But I'd rather buy something online the come back in for just a product. 4 stars is because I hear you have good trainers but your employees at the register are deplorable.

Their selection is smaller than the big box store down the street but they put more thought into their inventory selection and the staff are willing and helpful to navigate products. They occasionally have really good promotions too that saved me a lot on essentials.

This is so exciting! Of course the prices are a little higher than "big box pet stores" but quality and options are superior! Future plans for their store are something to look forward to as well.

They have 3 trainers , I think they do evaluations to see what class would work best for you and your dog. It might be good to call and ask . Also, on their website ,they have some info on their classes. 😊

Masks inside store. Entrance and exit on separate sides of the store to prevent people moving too close to each other. Social distance enforced. Safety barrier at check-out.
They don't sell dogs ,but they do hold adoption events for the humane society about once a month.
They allow friendly, non-aggressive dogs
