When I first arrived at the resort the food and atmosphere was great. However, whenever I came to my room there was a broken pull out bed, half broken shower, and no air conditioning (only fans). In order to sleep comfortably we had to open the front window (no screen) and the patio door with 2 fans to share throughout the room.

Stayed in the summer. The rooms are nicer than a basic hotel but less than a more updated hotel. Our check in guy said “we’re not first class but we’re not white trash” we thought it was funny. Its 23 minutes from driggs but closer to the hiking we wanted to do. I would’ve given it 4 stars but the room directly above us was full of elephants stomping around causing us to not be able to sleep well. Like that it’s dog friendly tho

I'm impressed with Grand Targhee. We got lucky and hit 2 powder days of our 3 days. Wow. Short lift lines, good terrain, and family friendly. Only criticism was scanning tickets each time up the lift

We had a great time at Grand Targhee. We were there on a weekend after three days at Jackson Hole. The parking lot was full on the Saturday but there were no real crowds on the hill except for a few lift lines here and there. Sunday was much quieter. We arrived at 830am and got parking right up front. Beautiful place with great terrain. It was a really nice change of pace from Jackson Hole which definitely feels like the "big city" of skiing by comparison. I can't wait to get back on a powder day. The next time I come I will bring my XC gear too as the track looks phenomenal from up above on the hill.

Hi Teneal, We have 2 shops at the moutnain - Teton Mountian Outfitters and The Board Shop. We also have a shop in driggs - Habitat. You can finde ski and snowbaord outerware at all locations. https://www.grandtarghee.com/vacation-planning/resort-shopping/ Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Hi Eastman, Here are our lift ticket prices. https://www.grandtarghee.com/tickets-passes/winter-lift-tickets/ Thank you, GTR
No stylist are provided at the resort
Yes, they have a full shop, not sure on the cost
No leash required... unless you're Aaron Couch
It's really bad takes a long time
Doubt there would be because fires aren't usually allowed at that altitude in case of a forest fire
That's not entirely true. I've done stay and ski packages at the lodge many times that includes lift tickets with the stay. I just typically find it better to stay in Driggs because the food is better and cheaper in town then what the lodge offers
They open on November 17th
There are definitely in-bounds consequences. Follow a knowing local and scope out your lines before hauling into anything unknown. Mostly, though, there is a ton of excellent powder and interesting and safe terrain
No, the lifts are not running. Up hill hiking is allowed now though.
Yes
Nope
There is a small store, not a real grocery store. Broulims is a great store in Driggs.
