If I pay for a room at the lodge does that included a ski pass?

That's not entirely true. I've done stay and ski packages at the lodge many times that includes lift tickets with the stay. I just typically find it better to stay in Driggs because the food is better and cheaper in town then what the lodge offers

Unfortunately no, that is an additional charge.
