We had a great time staying at this lodge. Owners are very friendly and welcome you on arrival and through stay. Rooms small if wanting more than 2 or 3 in a room but all rooms are in the round and near each other. Extremely clean and beautiful decorated. Great middle area for meeting and socializing. Have game rooms upstairs and in basement. Good breakfast with a huge bowl of fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and fresh baked items as well as many other items. Only downside, if it's considered a downside, it's an hour out of Jackson. Targhee is close and from what I heard from guest is that those ski areas are even nicer than Jackson area. Definitely stay there again!!

Loved our stay at the lodge. The room was comfy and had plenty of room. The great room in the tepee was very quaint with room to play games or just relax reading. Mangers were very friendly! Highly recommend.

This place is unbelievable. The owners are fantastic and they are meticulous about every aspect of your stay. If you are anywhere near the Grand Tetons you have got to stay at this place! I took about 15 photos and 3 videos of this place. I would post them but it would ruin the surprise and bewilderment when you see this place and your mouth just drops open it is so fabulous. It's not just a place to stay it's a destination in its own right.

This is an iconic lodge in the valley just below Grand Targhee and the Tetons. Spent several hours in the upstairs loft taking in the view and enjoying the accommodations. Dan and Alma are wonderful hosts/owners. They respect your privacy and need to get away; at the same time are willing to carry on friendly and serious conversation. I have been driving by this place for 30 years on my way to Targhee and finally stopped. It is worth every penny spent, you will not find a better place or price in the US with this kind of ambience and hospitality. We wish you many prosperous years and blessing. Greg Nielsen and Family
