Not much go's wrong at my apartment, I've lived here for 3 years, I put in a work order 3 or 4 times, they came right on according to what time you placed the other, no later than the next day.

New management is the worst thing that has ever happened to this complex. The paper pusher at the management office is rarely here and does nothing effective while he is.

I moved here about 6 months ago and it's been ok so far. I have a few issues that I have brought to their attention but haven't received any response back. For starters its extremely hard to get ahold of any of the staff over the phone. I have left multiple voicemails that they never respond back to. They don't enforce the no smoking policy that's in the lease. You can't open your windows for fresh air because the cigarette blows in. I've also had to put out multiple fires from residents throwing cigarettes into the mulch outside my apartment. Recently they removed most of the dumpsters from the property, now we have to use the trash compactor or the one dumpster in the back by building D. This is causing trash to pile up on the weekends before they are emptied on Monday. There are other issues like residents leaving unsupervised dogs in the dog park and replacing exterior building lights. As for the apartment the only issue I have is the linoleum flooring. I noticed I had a lot of small tear and blemishes when I moved in. Anything you place on the floor will end up making an indent and if left long enough will rip through or get stuck to the linoleum and tear. This has me worried that they will try and charge me to replace the flooring that was already messed up when I moved in. I will update this review once I'm able to address my concerns with Knol management.

The quick answer is no I don't feel treated fairly. The reasons are that I feel like other residents are allowed to abuse the terms of their lease while the rest of us are forced to abide. The office hasn't done their due diligence with premises upkeep and more importantly the safety of the community. Within the first couple of months of moving in I was bullied by other tenants till they could have the parking spot that I was paying for. The office cared to do nothing
Not that I know of. It's been 2 years that I lived here and havent gotten a single knock
La Mirage Apts is now under new management, and they chose to have the leasing office and laundry facilities CLOSED ON SUNDAYS! The previous management company had the laundry facilities open 7 days a week. It seems that this new management company doesn't take our tenant needs into consideration. With no laundromats nearby (or within walking distance), it's important to have the laundry facilities available 7 days a week. Us tenants (especially parents) work hard all week, and may only have time to do laundry on the weekends. I hope that this new management team will reconsider, and have the laundry facilities open on Sundays.
