Beautiful place to stop for half way point bike ride from white Flint. Or fishing or boat paddling.

Nice, well kept park close to the water. Perfect for young kids, during daylight hours. Nice playground, and decent parking. Great walking trails too. This is not a huge playground, but it's perfect for kids under 10.

Questions & Answers

How do I obtain permission to use the park as a rest stop for cyclists participating in a group ride on the IHRT? Would be only for 2 to 3 hours or sooner depending on when the last rider returns to the trail.

A few hours should be good. Up the hill where the boaters park there's a covered picnic area. That would be good for YA'LL.

You can fish from the fishing pier but not on the boat launching docks.

Is the waterway closed at dusk or is it just the park/playground? The signs are only around the playground and there are still now fishing boats out on this water.
