My garbage can fell into their garbage truck when it was picked up. I contacted them and the had no problem replacing it, the issue I have is they said there drivers that drop off cans have strict schedules and the soonest it can be dropped off is five days later. I asked if I could place my garbage in my recycling or yard waste bin until it was picked up next. The response I received was "to keep it in my garage or the side of my house". I am in the process of escalating this to find a reasonable solution. Hopefully all works out, but I am definitely not leaving my garbage with food and other items that smell in my garage, or on the side of my house for animals to find.

Update: Although the issue still happened they did make it right and didn't charge me. Upping my review a bit. Older Review: So for some reason my garbage was never picked up but all the other neighbors garbage was picked up. We always pay on time and leave the trash where they ask us to. I reached out over a week ago and have not heard back about anything. We of course now have extra trash but I am sure we will get billed for it since it seems no one wants to reach back out to us. It is so bad that one company can have this much power and be non-responsive.

I've never had an issue with murrey's. They are always super quick to fix any issues like needing a new garbage can or having an incomplete trash pickup (happened only once). Not sure why these guys get such a bad rap! I have never had any issues reaching them via phone in a timely manner. Sometime there is a short hold but it's better than calling most other companies! They always pickup on time and they are quick to communicate any changes. Their app reminds me to put my garbage out which is nice.

Never picked up yard waste and I have tried all week to call and can’t get an answer.

Is styrofoam recycleable Can I put styrofoam in the recycle bin
Like Comcast, every month
Well if your roads are still slick, icy, or covered in snow they probably didn't service it again. The best advice I could give you is to ask your neighbors if their garbage was serviced today. If it was then you should call Murrey's and report to them that your house was missed. With the entire region having a missed week they're drivers are looking at a lot of extra trash being picked up, and mistakes do happen. It happened to me last year, and they addressed the issue the next business day as well as telling me to place any extra garbage bags I had next to our garbage tote, the driver would load them in after servicing the tote, and dump them as well. I hope this helps you solve the problem. Good luck!
The kindness thing anyone can to is bag all garbage and recycle!!! If your picking up recycle on a windy day, your day is hell!!! I full understand some don’t have the means to do that, if you do, please do!!!
Minimum dump charge under 400 pounds of weight is $39.00 at Purdy Transfer Station for one can or 40 cans. If that’s cheaper and works for you great. I live a couple blocks from it and often thought about it.
I have not used the services of this facility so I cannot tell you as to whether or not this is a recyclable item
Simple answer is yes.
