The kindness thing anyone can to is bag all garbage and recycle!!! If your picking up recycle on a windy day, your day is hell!!! I full understand some don’t have the means to do that, if you do, please do!!!
I have never gave any thought to it. As long as it is in the can and the lid closes it will be collected.
