Great experience, all the waiting around outside for 2 hours was a mild inconvenience as my toddler was with me, but they were very helpful and helped get us the assistance we needed.

Unfortunately we are all seeing how HORRIBLE inslee and his administration are failing the citizens of Washington State. inslee needs to do the "right thing" and QUIT, the citizens of Washington need a REAL LEADER - a PEOPLE"S governor. Hey inslee, how does it feel to be named the worst governor in the United States of America?;

Considering I can't get help in person and their phone system hung up on me I am none to pleased with DSHS. Now they are on furlough every Monday. Basically they don't exist to me. Follow up: I was able to get thru to the folks at the customer service center and they hooked me up with the Pandemic Relief Fund payment. Really helped out a lot.

I can tell you, the last two times I went to DSHS in Auburn, Washington, were humiliating! The woman who assisted me was extremely condescending, and nasty! I didn't get her name, but I'm sure everyone knows who she is. Luckliy, my second visit, I did get a name...Jason was horrible from the onset. He accused me of trying to apply for double visits under my name, and my sister's. He wouldn't allow me to complete a sentence, and after getting information, in which to call my sister, he left the desk, and never came back. Just left me at the counter! I went to check-in, asked the Receptionist where he was, and was told he would be awhile. Yes, he "forgot" to come back and tell me. After leaving the office, I had a breakdown. After my sister's eviction (I stayed with her until the eviction), my Uncle's death, the following month, and experiencing homelessness for the first time, I didn't need this. These two were absolutely horrible to me! I missed the one lady, there, with the white-blond hair. She wears glasses, and thanked me for having all my paperwork together. I wished she would have assisted me. Jason is a moron, and should not be working with people. I wanted to file a complaint online, but was forwarded to the Manager of the DSHS in Auburn. I didn't follow up with with him. He knows what's going on there... Nothing would have happened. I'll conduct my business over the phone next time.

Later in the day yes. Usually not when they first open
Right now you need to make an appointment online or shoot them a call to schedule that would be the fastest route
There are a lot of variables that go into eligibility. I would calling 877-501-2233 for the statewide call center and they will be able to answer your question, my apologies I do not work in eligibility
Can't hurt to try.
