Been trying to get in touch with post office all day! PHONE JUST RINGS AND RINGS. TheN SOMEONE WILL PICK UPTHE PHONE AND HANG IT UP!! CALLED COnsUMER AFFAIRS ON HOLD 20 + MINUTES FINALLY TALK TO SOMEOME WHO WILL HAVE UNIVERISTY PLACE POST OFFICE CALL ME !!!! THEY HAVE NOT CALLED!!!!!!!! COnSUMER AFFAIRS CLOSES AT 4PM!!!!!. 0 STARS¡¡!!!!!

I called customer service because it had said my package was attempted to be delivered, but weren’t able and would try again. But when I got home and it was in my front door. So I decided to call to let them know that it was delivered and just wanted to confirm. At first the lady I spoke to greeting me nice but once I told her that. All she told me was “ and what do you want us to do?” I was honestly shock because I was just trying to help. The employees need to be trained to be respectful to customers. I understand that some customers can be rude but I wasn’t at all. I was polite but once she gave me attitude I obviously gave it back.

Came in one day there were 2 lines, according to signage it seemed to be based on criteria for assistance. I come in the very next say and suddenly there's one line for everything and I'm being accused of jumping the line. Wow. Welcome to Tacoma, midwesterner. How embarrassing....not for me...I meant you guys. But hey it is a government entity so there you go. Update: classic post office, they don't know their own rules. Was telling me I couldn't open a PO Box if I was from out of state. That would be the purpose of the PO Box ma'am. That's why they're transferable. That's why they give options only for a few months to years. This info literally is in the set up online and wouldnt have let me go through with it, I'm sure. Per usual a casual citizen knows the rules better than the government employees who are trained into the very position they purport to know nothing about.

My husband and I visited the post office today and we were pleasantly surprised by a young lady who worked there, Dianne! I hope that she is aware of how helpful, gracious and kind she is because the assistance she provided today as we were trying to send a box to a soldier oversees was so appreciated. She simplified our process today and foe future sends and was so informative. I also hope her managers see this as they are very lucky to have an employee like Dianne. Kudos to her and the others I observed today at the University Place post office.
