This place needs some serious help. There is always 1 person working the front and she’s never very helpful. She leaves my questions open ended and doesn’t find a solution - rather just puts me on my way. I have a PO Box here and my mail/packages are constantly super late arriving to my box or I have to ask them to go find them. I never have a good experience here and always end up leaving frustrated.

This post office is a total disorganized mess. They, for some reason, thought it was a good idea to move the prepaid postage drop off location inside the section where everyone has to line up who is not prepaid. How does that make sense? Now, the prepaid customers who normally only take 30 seconds in the office have to literally push their way through a line of people to drop of their package. And on top of that, there’s not an actual “prepaid drop off” label anywhere. So you just have to hope that wherever you drop your package off ends up in the right place or get in light with the not prepaid people. GET IT TOGETHER USPS!!!! Our entire lives are through shipping and mailing things now! This is not the time to get sloppy.

Mason the branch manager is so kind and accommodating to the patrons. His calmness & willingness to go out of his way to help move things along in a timely manner is so effective. As we all know the holidays is probably the most hectic and stressed time of the year for them...he is so efficient and still maintains a beautiful smile for all of us to see. Thank you for being there for us. Really appreciate the service you do!!!!!

Very friendly and efficient staff. The boxes and labels ARE fully stocked and they also have an impressive selection of greeting cards at normal prices. The counter agent shared my joy over Sesame Street forever stamps as well. (yay!) I think some of the reviews that have to do with mail carriers/missing mail are not applicable here. I'll bet there's a distribution center where most Tacoma mail is machine sorted. Also, looks like some folks submitting reviews don't understand postal RULES. (Seems to be a thing these days.) Also, Amazon exerts a huge demand at negotiated and extorted pricing which drives down services and drives up pricing for the guy or gal off the street.

During the week 7pm and on Saturday 1pm. You can use their self service counter 24/7 for mid to small packages.
A good hammer might work.
If flat envelope.
Depends on which post office you drop off at.
Yes.
Go during non-peak hours or visit a location that isn't as heavily used.
Your best bet is to contact the location directly to verify if they have any available boxes. Or you can create an account with USPS and see if you can rent one online. The online system will tell if one is available. That's how I got one, then I had to take my identification info in later.
If it's a valid money order, they will cash it for you.
