Absolutely pathetic. Packages not delivered. Returned to sender for no apparent reason except incompetence, who's running this location?!?! Local mail person looks like a homeless guy found a postal uniform in the dumpster and decided to wear it like it's his "Sunday best".

We had a package of medication that was delivered and when I went to get it, I discovered the package box key JAMMED, into one of the crevices in my mailbox. My apt complex staff won't touch it because the mailbox is USPS property and the local post office is closed with no way to contact a human. The main USPS number gets you to "customer service" which does nothing but put in a service request that could take up to 3 business days to fix it, MAYBE.

What point is there to having a postal service when I have to go get my packages every time. This was not an issue until recently but it gets brushed off when I mention it. I feel like they are paid far to much for as lazy and useless they are at their jobs. Whichever politician promises to shut them down or privatize them and replace every employee gets my vote.

I have called repeatedly and cannot get anyone to answer the phone, except for once and that person put me on hold for about 15 minutes, after which I got tired of holding and hung up. I also tried two other postal phone numbers with the same results. NOTHING! I had mail stolen and they don't seem to care.
Thank you, Jason! Fortunately, the mail came after I checked it tonight at 5:00 p.m. My husband decided to check it again in case it was delivered after I stopped at the boxes. Low and behold it was there! I spoke too soon.....very happy we got our mail tonight.
Thanks, will try
Google the local numbet
That is the nicest staff at this post office and they are super busy. Stop in and see them
Because your not suppose to block the mailbox. Same thing with a garbage can, if you park a car in front of it do you think the garbage man is going to get out and move the garbage can for pick up. The carriers are on a time schedule and if your mailbox does not require getting out if the vehicle and its blocked it will be passed up and tried the following business day. If every mailbox is blocked on an out the window delivery do you realize how much extra time it would take for that carrier to deliver their route. All the Post Office asks for is enough space to pull in, reach out and place the mail in the box. Usually about 10 feet before and after the mailbox
Window service is open from 830 to 430
Bring your tracking information in to your station and ask them to search the delivery system for the delivery status. If the package shows as delivered but you did not receive it ask for the GPS location of the delivery.
Collection boxes are picked up everyday and the boxes have posted pickup times in the lid. Plus every collection box must be scanned for each posted collection time.
Need more info, picked up from where? Your personal mailbox, if so how is your mailman suppose to know the person does not live there unless you write DOES NOT LIVE HERE on the mail. Not everyone puts in a forwarding address. I would venture to say that maybe 50% of the general public actually puts in a forward. Also we see lots of mail that looks important but if you look at where the postage goes it will state some kind of standard or first class, standard mail does not get forwarded and first class does but for a short time. Hope this answered your question and thanks for using the US Postal Service
Very simple, if you have met your mailman and he treats his customers like I do my mail customers you can leave a note in your mailbox with the flag up. You can also go online and put in a hold for vacation which all holds are good for up to 30 days. You are able to put in a start date and an end date with your choice to pick up or have your mailman restart your mail on a your return date. The last way to put your mail on hold is by going into your post office and filling out a vacation hold card and giving it to a window clerk and she will give it to the route you live on. Hope this is helpful
