My husband passed away in September and it has been a nightmare dealing with this company. I had to call 3 different times in an attempt to arrange for disbursement of funds. Each time I was given a different response re documentation needed. They said they never got the funeral home's documentation. Finally they figured out that they actually had everything and can issue payment. THEN I get a check in the mail and the funeral home does too. I call and they say "oh your check is voided because you signed a direction to pay." I know I did so why send the check in the first place and then not send a notice explaining the error?? I pray that my family does not have the same terrible time dealing with this company when I pass. Grief is hard enough without having to deal with all this mess.

This insurance company is true to its word. You were very kind and courteous to our family in the loss of our brother. Thank you for the quick response in taking care of the payment to the funeral home. You took the worry from us in having to oversee the payment and was quick to respond back to the funeral home. I will be telling others about this service. Thank you very much.

The company does not garnish checks. The insurance comissioner in certain states garnish checks and every insurance company is required to follow the law in those states. So it is your elected officials who are doing this.
In need of a contact number

Thank you for your comment. In order for the beneficiary of one of our policies to be able to collect the insurance, it is not necessary to have a social security number; But some states with specific regulations, such as Texas, do ask for it. You can use any bank to make payment
Unfortunately, I don't work Lincoln's marketing so I can't help you about the mailing list. But I do have some advice for a noble veteran like yourself. My grandfather was a veteran and let me tell you, it's NOT enough. Yes, they give you a plot, the cheapest, ugliest possible casket and cheap headstone. But...what about transportation, morgue fees, open and closing fees, outstanding retail and medical debts, embalming, dressing, flowers, ceremony, invitations, religious services and many other final expenses required? That's why I got the Funeral Guardian Society because they take care of ALL of your funeral services from A to Z for only $15. WORTH IT.
Yes you can, after 18 months I believe. Need to call main office or your agent.
Call the home office
Karen, if the policy owner is still living, they can choose another beneficiary. Keep in mind that the type of policy may influence that. I suggest calling the life insurance agency who can give you more specifics. Hope this helps!
Whole life
Well can you
How do I pay the bill online
Call them they will tell you the cash value
Not sure what you're asking. If you have a policy at work, you'll need to contact your work insurance carrier's customer support and see what the terms are for that. For Lincoln, call 18004387180 and ask about your policy woth us and those terms
I would just call the number on the card and ask. Be ready to provide the date of death. Check for coverage for that date. Theyll let you know.
Did u find coverage? I can help you with a renter’s policy
Totally depends how your Agent completed application. You can be an owner and be the payor
With any insurance, you are covered as long as you keep up the payments. You purchased coverage for that period. If you would have died during those months your family would have received whatever coverage you choose. Lincoln gives 30 days for customers to make sure the policy is right for them. If not they give them a refund. I know people who got they're money back with no problems. But since 30 days passed before you cancelled they didn't return the money. I know other insurance companies only give 15 days, so this company actually gives people more time than many other companies to review their policy.
85 is oldest for new coverage. I apologize
Not currently but you can over the phone or by sending in to office. 💗
