I don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews. Don’t let the nice looking facility fool you. If you have a sick child I would suggest not taking them here. I came in last night because my son was ill and these people have absolutely no compassion, I’m disgusted. Right when we came in my son threw up due to high fever and this woman in the reception area was more worried about her paperwork and payment instead of letting me attend to my child. Luckily I had someone there to help me. There was no one else there but us, once I was in the room the nurse came in and asked what was wrong I tried to explain but he quickly took information and left. After a few minutes the so called Dr. came in rushed asked me what was wrong as I explained to him. He seemed like I was wasting his time asking questions about my son’s health and he gave me take it or leave it options. They gave him some medicine and sent us on our way. I took my son to his pediatrician the next day and he told me he had a severe ear infection which was not even checked when I took him to this ER. A waste of time and money. I would suggest you go anywhere else but here especially with a child.

I went to Memorial Heights ER for some chest pains and they got me in immediately. Bryana at the front got me set-up quickly and they moved me to the back. Nurse Kristin and Techs Max, Jeff, and Jackson all knew their duties and moved me through the various tests and procedures. Jeff only had to poke me once. Jackson and Max only had to place the EKG pads once with no pulling and replacing. All were very knowledgeable and had great bedside manners. Nurse Kristin talked me through what they were doing and kept it light-hearted but informative. Dr Behzadi came in with my results and helped me understand what he was looking for and what he found and what we could do to help address the results. He, too, was very nice to talk to as we talked sodium and glucose and stress tests and Astros playoffs. The whole Memorial Heights team was a pleasure to be seen by and I'd definitely go there again.

If you are sick, or if your kid is sick, I HIGHLY recommend driving right past this place and going somewhere else. We've had great experiences at similar facilities in other parts of town (the Village, etc.), but our experience at Memorial Heights was the single worst experience I have encountered in healthcare (and I work in the industry). If only we had seen these other reviews before going... 2022 update: This statement is still true. 8 years later and we are still scarred by the experience.

Absolutely rude staff. I do not feel welcome here at all. I entered the building at 11pm and immediately used the bathroom and as I was using the restroom the front desk nurse or admin knocked and said I could not use the restroom unless I was a patient and that it’s a private facility. So I was rushed out of the bathroom and I tried to explain that I wasn’t feel well at the moment and wasn’t sure if I wanted to check myself in or not. But, that made me feel very uncomfortable and would not like any treatment from them. I’m actually appalled. I expected better.
