Worst experience at a doctors office. I received absolutely zero information regarding my visit. The doctor did not seem interested in me at all, and provided no information regarding the tests that were run. I left not knowing anything about my physical or my physical health. Only one person, the person running tests on me, seemed interested in me at all. However, he did not bother to explain what tests he was running or their importance. I felt like just another number. I will not be returning, and will seek care elsewhere. Oh, by the way, you should find a more sterile looking room to take blood from patients, I felt like I might get an infection. If you are looking for a healthcare professional that actually cares about your health and issues you may have, do not go to Dr. Coates' office.

Dr. Coates goes above and beyond every time to make me feel comfortable (anxious at the doctor always), and takes extra time to make sure I understand everything completely. He is the best doctor I have ever had. Patient for life!

At the time of this writing 8 out of the past 10 reviews are 1 star. Dr. Coates is pretty cool, his office staff seem overwhelmed though. Yesterday I was told by someone named Leah that they could not refill my prescription (not a controlled drug) one day before my doctors appointment. I told her I had run out, and she said it was against the law to refill the prescription if I hadn’t seen the doctor within 6 months. After looking into it that is not true, and I’m not really sure why they would be a jerk about something like that. I called multiple times this morning to try and speak with an actual doctor about it, left multiple messages, and I guess I’ll just have to wait for my appointment to get in contact with someone. I’ll definitely be looking for another doctors office in the future.

Dr. Coates has always been the ultimate professional to me. I have been going to him for better than 5 years and he has been honest and super helpful. The girls at the front desk have also been very responsive and helpful. I now live in Farmersville and still go to Dr. Coates for the reasons mentioned.
