This practice has fallen apart. They have been taken over by Penta Health. My Doctor was Dr. Douglas Atlas. I wouldn't recommend him or Gateway to anyone. After going there for 20 years I was abandoned by my doctor with no prior conversation. They can do this by simply stating it's due to philosophical difference and there is nothing you can due about it. I have concluded that it might be the results of philosophical different between the Dr's and Penta Health that are resulting in patients being sent letters from the doctors saying that due to philosophical difference that they or any doctor in the Gateway practice will no longer be able to care for you. I Received this letter after my first face to face physical in two years. I now realize that Dr Atlas planned on dropping me as a patient that day before I walked in for my scheduled yearly physically. That day no nurse took care of me, I was told the computer where down, the front desk help was struggle, and Dr Atlas was extremely stand offish. He made it clear that he had no interest in treating me and clearly stated he could not do much for me without the computer but talk. However he didn't talk to me or mention anything about philisophical differences. It was the worst physically. It was so bad I thought maybe I should reschedule one. Dr Atlas told the nurses to cancel that appointment as he didn't see it as necessary. He has caused me a wasted physically and exrem anxiety. It is really ashame patients fall victim to this. I would highly recommend stearing away from this medical practice and Dr. Douglas Atlas. It's hard to believe this is happening in the United States of America.

Time to find a new doctor!!! These doctors make me feel like a genius. I went in for a second visit because I have this burning pain in my upper back. I asked for a lung x ray back in December to rule out lung cancer. It came back fine. I went last week mind you 4 month later with the same problem except it was getting worse. I had the pleasure of the doctor telling me something is pressing on my nerve. WOW!!! When the DOCTOR walked in I said, DR I THINK SOMETHING IS PRESSING ON MY NERVE. SHE CONFIRMED but I would assume test would be nice to find out WHAT IS PRESSING ON MY NERVES???? I should of become a doctor as I have diagnosed myself and she gets paid??? Wait then my boyfriend called for a foot referral & he was told you haven't been seen in 5 years so we dropped you??? What his insurance card labels YOUR OFFICE as his PRIMARY!! Wouldn't you call him if you were going to drop him because he DIDN'T GET SICK in 5 years . This Office is a joke in my opinion and they're only in for the money. I've been charged for weight problems yet I'm 125lbs and muscular when I asked why you charged my insurance when we NEVER NEVER DISCUSSED MY WEIGHT I was ignored since she couldn't say hey I'm trying to get all the money I can from your insurance!!! Try another office NON of the doctors here do a good job. They're more worried about collecting your money with no cure for your ailments!!!!!

Dr. Stretton is the most sincere doctor ever! She answered 2 holiday phone calls immediately! She is knowledgeable, caring and considerate. Dr. Chin and the other on call doctor were pleasant and helpful.

Dr. Stretton is the most sincere, caring & knowledgeable Doctor. If she doesn’t know it then she’ll find a specialist for you that does. She also takes the time to learn from her patients. These are the reasons that she has been my doctor for 32 years!
