We arrived at Dr. Whitcomb’s office at 10:25 for a 10:30 appointment. We waited in the front office until almost 11. My mother and I were then moved to the smaller waiting room where the nurse took her blood pressure and weight, spoke briefly, and left us to wait for the doctor. At 11:25 I open the door only to see Dr. Whitcomb eating his lunch. I mentioned I had another appointment at 11:30. Without saying a word to me he told the nurse she should reschedule our appointment. My mother-in-law had bloodwork for this appointment on Monday. We were called to come in for a shot and get anabiotic’s on Tuesday. Yet now we can just reschedule the appointment. We had already waited an hour. Possibly he should’ve rescheduled his lunch. He then said “What’s your name?” I responded and he said, “Well you’re next.” He had no concern for our time nor did he ask about the infection that he had prescribed antibiotics . He read to us what the bloodwork paper said. My mother in law and I can both read. When I asked questions about the few things that were abnormal he told me he would get to it and he never did. This is our second and last appointment Dr. Whitcomb. He treats his patients as if they don’t know anything and he is unable, or unwilling, to answer questions. Worst doctor ever. Save yourself some time find somebody else.
