I go here when I visit my cult in The Colony. A lot like Deckhands in Austin, but nicer decor/atmosphere. They have crawfish as well as nice choices for how you like your fish plate prepared. Definitely will be back. They were super busy when we went; one of the chefs helped out the front of house and took our order, it was great because he could go into detail on the menu items and gave excellent recommendations.

I can’t even rate the food because we left before we were acknowledged. We stood at the door waiting to be seated for several minutes, the black female bartender looked at us and looked away. If that’s the kind of customer service we’re getting before we even eat, I don’t want to know the kind of service we would have received had we eaten there. We are regulars at the Rockfish in Highland Village, so to see how below par this one is very disappointing.

If this had been my first time eating at Rockfish I probably would have rated it 2-3 stars. However, I know that the food here is pretty decent, I just didn't like what we ordered this time. The poboy was pretty average and the etouffe was not good. The house salad I've used this many times in my own meals at home, it's one of my favorite things at Rockfish.
