I volunteer there. It's wonderful, if you are in need of good food come here. Everyone is welcomed and treated with respect.

This place is awesome! I did some volunteer work here and, just like I knew I would, was blessed to be apart of what this place is doing. They are in the "business" of serving. If you're hungry are afraid that last $12 won't go far enough, go to this market. They on on a major bus line and are dedicated to serving the public. They treat guest and volunteers like HUMANS, not with pity, but with respect and genuine kindness. There is no need to be hungry. Just go for a visit

They are open late on Monday's which helps when you have to rely on public transportation and its easy to get to staff is always nice and helpful. They always ask if you're walking so they can double bag your stuff for you but I always try to bring my own bags

Originally it stood for "south of the dome" referring the Kingdome, but since it was demolished in 2000 its commonly thought to stand for "south of downtown"
Anyone can use it.
