Here I sit, in the lobby, with their broken elevator and no access to my expensive apartment (increased another 30%). Have been asking for a key for over a year for the outside door since the locks been broken. Gates been broken over a year. Side door is broken homeless often sleep in the gym. Here I sit. Here I sit. 6/25/22 - Elevator still broken, Gate still broken, side door broken (everyone is welcome here) to take free packages. It's going down hill quick. Crack heads checking the place out. Gun shots in parking lot at car previously. Alleged murderer recently captured on 5th floor (approved resident with a felony). Always broken glass around cars in lot as well on street. This is your luxury apartment complex

Grew up in Tacoma and definitely my favorite place I’ve lived - the noise of the train can be a little annoying sometimes but as long as your ok with city noises (white noise) the building is great. My favorite part is definitely the location but if you look at apartments in the area for a similar price range this one definitely has THE MOST bang for your buck. The one big downside is there’s no visitor parking tho and they will definitely tow your car.

Cool location and cool building, but that's about it. Management is terrible. They almost never respond to calls or emails, and rarely have a solution to your problem. Building is shared with offices on the first floor who routinely leave the building doors open, which gives anyone access to the elevator and subsequently the hallways. Packages are usually left in front of your door. I've had three stolen in 8 months. Parking lot has no cameras or anything. My car has been broken into twice in 8 months. Appliances and furnishings are cheap--dryers are condensation dryers which leave clothes damp; dishwashers require multiple runs; and sinks and counters are tiny IKEA furnishings. Everything about this place screams lowest bidder. There is zero sound proofing between drywall walls and plywood floors. If you're on the water side, half of your apartment is part of the new addon, which has nice, thick concrete floors. The original building half has thin plywood flooring through which your neighbors below you can hear EVERYTHING. I can understand full conversations from my neighbors upstairs and my neighbors with whom I share a wall. TL;DR location is great, building is cool, amenities are terrible and management is worse. Will not be renewing lease.

Everything you hear about this place is true. It's extremely loud! You can hear everything next to, above, and below you. The lofts themselves are attractive but if you have good hearing, I wouldn't recommend living here. If you live on the city side you also have to deal with train noise. Personally, I like the train noise because it helps drown out your neighbors conversations and TV. Management is also terrible. You would think after so many terrible reviews about the noise they would take that into consideration and try sound proofing or reduce the price of the units. If I was paying under $1,000 it wouldn't be as bad, but I'm paying much more and it's total bs. If you're still interested in the place try and look at a space on the weekend so you can truly see how loud it really is. Management is sneaky and will try and show you the unit during working hours when no one is home. If you make the mistake of moving in and decide you can't take the noise, be prepared to pay over $3,000 to break your lease. This place is totally OVERPRICED and you can get much more bang for your buck at another place. Management needs to get off their lazy asses and do something about the sound. I'm not talking about muffled sounds here and there, I'm talking about it sounding like you're in the same room with your neighbors. You can even hear them whisper. Please please please, reconsider living here. It's truly a terrible place to live.
