Pulled into food bank got approached by rude man. I know they are volunteering but you don't ask a person if they read the sign when nobody was out there to help them in the first place. He was very rude and kept asking if we understood what it said over and over like we where two years old. Wow make a cancer patient cry why don't you. Probably won't be back. Funny how one bad egg can ruin thee whole batch

I think this is probably one of the best food banks I've ever been to. Might have a bit of a wait but that's because they help so many people. Well worth the wait. Awesome people. Thank you so much we are blessed for having you in our community.

We were here for the food! We waited a while but it was worth it employees are volunteers all had masks and we could only come one person up to the window at a time I appreciated that

I'm on disability and have grandkids living with me. This has been a blessing being able to come here a couple times a month to ease the food budget. Everyone that volunteers there is nice, sometimes cheerier than other days but no one ever wakes up every day with sparkles in their eyes and smiles that could melt ice! If you let them know you have a child's bday coming up, they will do their best to get you a cake. Yes, speediness not on the menu. In normal times when you entered the building you grabbed a cart and waited in line to go through the aisles and choose food with a volunteer's assistance. It takes a while to get through mostly because there are usually 8-10 people picking out food and not everyone can make quick decisions. Average time when you're in line picking food is about 20 mins. so do the math, they only let so many in at a time. Its crowded in there when things are running smoothly, they do the best they can and I am grateful for their commitment. Now, because of covid, we don't go inside, they choose the food and bring it out.. goes much faster but you don't get to pick between items.

Drop off during open hours ask for Julie .oh and thank you for thinking of us.
No u do not. During the open Food Bank hours you just stand in line and wait to go to the window and the lady there will help you get set up
Just an id & something with your name & address on it. (Bills, magazine, etc.)
Food bank hours are mon & fri 10am -2pm Wed 2pm - 6pm
I had to go to an orientation first if you go on the website (volunteerup.com i believe) you can see what days are available and sign up
I think you just have to live in Pierce county. Their website should have that info though so you may want to double check.
10 to 1:30
Once a week, so 4 times a month.
They are not open the day after veterans day. That would make a Tuesday and they are only open Monday Wednesday and Friday.
Saturday only at 9:30 to 12
Not today, bc it's a holiday. M & F 10:30am-1pm, W 2pm-6:30pm. I go on Monday's & I show up around 7:15am, & I usually get in one of the 1st 2 groups they let in (limited space inside so only groups of 5 @ a time). Remember to bring a box & lots of bags!
Monday and Friday 10 am to 130pm. Wednesday 2pm to 6pm. Bring a box and bags.
