I've been seeing Dr. Kenkel since my mid twenties I think. He's always so kind and understanding and BUSY! Since December my life has gotten a little intense, more than usual and the injections have fallen off the priorities list. It was time to start up again. I was happy to see the ladies, it was Dr. Kenkel's injection day, so he was with another patient while I was getting prepped. His Nurse Dana, furrowed her brow a smidge when she saw my vitals. I kept insisting I was fine. I was calmly instructed to lay back with legs elevated, deep breaths and even turned the lights off! In the sweetest way Dana basically told me if I don't drop the "I'm fine" business, I"m going to the ER. Dr. Kenkel comes in like Batman, as always and when he looks at the numbers he even made a face then looked at me to make sure I was okay. My Plastic Surgeon and his team possibly saved my life tonight and very sadly, this one of the nights I've felt a little more okay. I want to send a big thank you to your entire staff for taking care of me always and looking out for my best interest first, foremost and always. Dr. Kenkel and Staff, especially Dana for acting like a big sis/mom, but also saying, no really--you're laying down. Best Plastic Surgeon and crew ever. You all have such important roles and I hope you never feel taken for granted by your patients. Xoxo,-Demi

Disclaimer: I never even got to see the doctor. This is just a review of the office staff. As soon as I called, I could tell the lady was irritated. It wasn’t until I told her I was white (she asked my race) that she seemed like she cared. During that same call, she told me she got my birthday wrong and that she couldn’t change it until I came in with my ID and insurance info. I got a voicemail 2 days before my appointment at the Frisco office saying they needed to push my 1:00 to 1:30. When I called back, I had to repeat my information over 3 different times, but she (different lady) said she couldn’t find my info. That’s when she figured out my birthday was wrong. I guess there wasn’t a note on my file. I go today for my appointment and can’t locate the office. I call to see what building it is located and they say I’m supposed to be in Dallas. That would’ve changed my answer if they mentioned that the reschedule also changed locations. To wrap it up, this office staff is pathetic. I can’t speak for the doctor, he might be the greatest in the world, but I’ll never know.

Ultherapy skin tightening is a popular nonsurgical alternative that uses ultrasound energy to tighten the skin. You may also benefit from neck liposuction or KYBELLA injections, both of which work well to slim the neck and define the jawline.

Many fillers are formulated with lidocaine, a numbing agent designed to keep you comfortable during your brief treatment. Dr. Kenkel also uses topical anesthetics and ice to make sure the area is numb before he performs your injections.

Who is a good candidate for an eye lift?

A good candidate for an eye lift is anyone who is experiencing drooping upper eyelids or fat deposits (“bags”) in the lower eyelids. People with conditions such as high blood pressure, dry eye, or diabetes may not be ideal candidates. Dr. Kenkel may ask you to be cleared by your eye doctor before surgery.

What is the down time for a neck lift?

Most people return to work after 1 to 2 weeks following a neck lift. Your timeline may vary depending on how quickly you heal and how strenuous your job is. After 2 weeks, most people feel comfortable gradually resuming their regular workout routines.

What is the right age for a facelift?

Jeffrey Kenkel, MD | Nov 5, 2021

There is no predetermined “right age” for a facelift because everyone ages at their own rate. The timeline depends more on the concerns you are facing, whenever you begin facing them. Facelifts are ideal for treating jowls, sagging skin on the lower face, and folds around the mouth. Some people experience these in their 60s, while others are ready in their 40s. The best way to determine if you are ready for a facelift is to schedule a one-on-one consultation at our practice.
