Thanks Dr. Yin, I am happy that my artritis pain is almost gone. They help me with my insomnia, migraine and I lost 20 lbs. of weights. Thanks

Fertility: Dr. Yin outlined a treatment plan that integrated into my protocol in preparation for my FET. Schedules were time-sensitive, and they were very accommodating to appointment times I needed. My results have been positive (increased blood flow, good lining, mentally less stress, etc.). There are so many factors at play with infertility & every situation is unique, but I have found success when incorporating acupuncture to get my body ready for the procedures & transfer. I've had a great experience with both Dr. Yin and Dr. Cui.

I have chronic gastritis and was experiencing higher-than-average painful symptoms for two weeks. I had consulted western doctors before about my condition, which really just ended up trying different prescription medicine. None of the Rx meds worked for me and I decided to try acupuncture. From my first visit with Dr. Yin, she was kind and sympathetic to my condition and patiently and knowledgeably explained my treatment plan. After being treated for only a few days by Dr. Yin and Dr. Lee, I began to experience improvements and much-needed relief for my pain. I'm continuing my acupuncture and herbal medicine treatment and am confident that Dr. Yin and Dr. Lee will be able to further help me. Dr. Yin's whole office including Leah and Elizabeth is great! They make you feel welcome and well-treated. If you're in need of pain relief, I highly recommend that you try Dr. Yin's Clinic!

I had my first visit today. The process was seamless. They explain everything that is going to happen and recommend a treatment plan. I am being treated for infertility and help with my IVF cycle. They are options for cost. I did not feel most of the needles except for a few stings here and there. After the needles were placed I laid on the table for 30 minutes under a warm lamp. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep several times. I was also given recommendations for foods to eat and Chinese herbs to take. I will update after more sessions. ***UPDATE It has been two years since this post and I successfully regained normal menstrual cycles. I am going back to prepare for egg transfer***

Questions & Answers

How does acupuncture treat infertility?

Steve Best | Nov 6, 2019
Yin's Acupuncture & Herbs Clinic | Nov 6, 2019

Hi Steve! Good question. An acupuncture treatment can promote both egg and sperm quality improvement in couples as it balances out hormones affecting the hypothalamus, pituitary, and reproductive glands. It also increases conception rates when paired with other infertility treatments such as Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Does acupuncture hurt?

Freda Frisco | Nov 6, 2019
Yin's Acupuncture & Herbs Clinic | Nov 6, 2019

Hi Freda. Acupuncture uses fine needles that are just as thin as a human hair, so many people do not feel anything at all. For comparison, a syringe needle is usually 0.8 mm wide and a sewing needle can be 1.1 mm in diameter. Acupuncture on the other hand is just approximately 0.12 mm in diameter. For patients with more sensitive skin however, they might feel a tickling sensation and numbness. Overall, this contributes to the soothing sensation of the acupuncture treatment. How does acupuncture work?

Acupuncture is based on traditional Chinese medicine research, where it was discovered that disease is mainly caused by disruptions in the energy flow of the body. This energy is known as Qi (pronounced as “chee”) and is responsible for maintaining bodily function. When blockages occur, energy fails to reach the vital organs and parts of the body, causing pain, sickness, and stress. During acupuncture treatments, the acupuncturist locates these energy blocks and destroy them by inserting needles directly on them. As energy flow is restored in the body, the body naturally heals itself.

How often do I need to get acupuncture?

Steven Lloyd | Nov 6, 2019
Yin's Acupuncture & Herbs Clinic | Nov 6, 2019

It depends on the treatment prescribed by the acupuncturist. For pain relief, an acupuncture treatment might be encouraged once every week, along with Traditional Chinese herbs. Infertility cases usually require a visit once every two weeks, but for the best results, a weekly treatment is advised.
